Thanks for the compliment! As far as I know, you can’t delete a favorite, you can clear it, replace the old station with a new one, but there is not a way to get rid of some of the 10 presets so you only have 2, or 5. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

We did not experience any lag time No,after the initial set up, once it detects your phone, it should make wireless apple CarPlay available automatically. Thanks for the question. I’m assuming you’re talking about the drivers information screen. Using the right hand steering controls, use the rotary knob to scroll to customize display, then click on it, then scroll down to gauge display and click on it. Then scroll down to either bar or bar minimal or round minimal and the car is then in the center portion of the screen. Thanks for watching!

Have you turned on the Grace Note database, that allows all those pics and graphics? If not you would find it under settings in the infotainment screen, or try doing a “reset to defaults” to see if it jars things back where they should be. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. I believe the screen your talking about is the speedometer. So once you change something, scroll to the top and click on the back button. Then use the scrolling wheel to go back to your screen like say the one with fuel range/ mileage etc. Thanks for watching!

To put the car in accessory mode push the start button once with your foot off of the break

Thanks for the question. I’m assuming here your using Android Auto and not Bluetooth. Go into your phones settings, In the top search bar type in Android Auto. Scroll through the list of things until you arrive at texting or messaging. Look in that area. I’m guessing your Android Auto settings on your phone itself has this feature turned off. Simply turn it on and it should now work. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question. First check what system you have running on your phone. If it’s 9.0 or earlier you’ll need to download android auto app from google play store. If the system is later than 9.0 you should be all set. I would also recommend checking your phone settings to make sure your phone is allowing text messages to run through android auto. For example I have an iPhone and under settings, when I click on Apple CarPlay, I can select or deselect which apps will work with Apple CarPlay, and Messages, is one of those things I can allow or not allow. Im assuming android phones would have a similar choice. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

To use Bluetooth instead of Apple CarPlay, it would be easiest to delete your phone from the system, tell your phone, under Bluetooth settings to forget this connection to the car, and then re-pair your phone via Bluetooth. Now when you do this , at the end of the pairing process, there will be a question on the infotainment screen asking you if you want to use Apple CarPlay, click No, then it will connect via Bluetooth only. Thanks for the response. Actually the fact that your not receiving texts has to do with how your phone is set up, not apple CarPlay. Apple CarPlay will in fact read your text messages to you and allow you to respond via Siri (through the infotainment system. So try this before you give up on apple CarPlay. Open your phone and go to settings then go to Bluetooth, then scroll down the list until you find your car, next to the name of your car there’s a blue “I” with a circle around it. Click on the “I”. In the window that pops up make sure that “show notifications” is turned on. Then try using apple CarPlay again and now the text feature should work. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

If the Uber app is supported you could connect your phone to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto on the vehicle if your trim level has those systems

@Two Guys and a Ride thank you I figured it out shortly after pressing buttons lol. I don't like to use cruise control so explains why I didn't realize that's what you press.

None sense, no such thing as a dumb question. With all the tech on cars today, there’s no way one can remember everything, so no worries, we’re glad to be of help. @@TwoGuysandaRide Thanks for your help guys. However, I test drove a civic here today and went through the info system. There is no language button on the Japanese model. The date and time button is followed by the touch panel button and I can't find anything about switching languages anywhere in the whole unit. I have my dealer contacting the manufacturer here and i'll follow up when I know more.

If I can't change it I will be using your guide to set it up until I get it memorized!

@@Mona-cp1nz ok I see what you mean. It’s the icon that shows you that your safety systems are on. The button to turn them on or off is located just below the drivers left air vent. The button has an icon on it with a car and a circle around it. Push it on, or push it off. When it’s on the green little car next to the odometer will come on. Thanks for watching!

Is it only on the touring ? I have the sport

Mine kept doing that and dealership tried to insist it was my phone or cable when trying to use CarPlay. Each time they had to factory reset it.

Thanks for the question. If you can’t see TPMS in the infotainment screen under vehicle settings, then it does not have it. If it did, that’s where it would appear. The 2022 Honda Civic comes with two different dashboards, and each one has a few different features. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

This is the Sedan Touring Model, not the Sport trim. The hatchback does offer a Sport Touring trim level, but the video is for the Sedan
