I was taught it was better to use a wrench (socket wrench. The one with different sizes that flips around than a ratchet because its easier to break it with a ratchet

I have 2022 civic I change oil every 9000 mile. Now 64000 mile. Engine still strong quiet

Perfect clean up and let's talk about that great experience on tightening cause I've done some oil changes and let's just say they are way over tighten and rounded out 😂

I punch a hole on the filter bottom - no mess

30 lb/ft with a torque wrench for the oil drain bolt. 👍🏼

Unless you change the oil on acid like me and my friend and cross thread the filter and waste a full load of oil and have to start again 😂

You have to replace the washer everytime and if so does it come with filter inside the box ? Also remove filter first or drain plug then filter ? I know nothing about cars 😀

I've found those pliable "Funnels" to be great, especially for when the oil would otherwise drip on the frame; like my 08 Ody.
