Honda updated the HR-V earlier this year in the Philippines. All eyes are on the higher V model as it has a turbo in its engine. However, the base model trim isn't really bare since it still has Honda Sensing. But what else does it have to persuade you to buy it? Check out our review in this video.

Unfortunately, the Honda plant in Thailand keeps prioritizing the volume demand from the right hand driving markets, kaya laging short supplied ang Pinas. Heck, had to wait for nearly a year to get mine!

If only the HR-V has available stocks, this could have been a hit. Dealers are taking advantage of the very low supply. The incoming price increase of around 130k+ pesos for the base S variant, just couldn't justify what it offers. I opted to get the Nissan Kicks..

with the price increase at kung willing ka naman to pay 1.4M to 1.6M, better to get the Mazda 3 or CX5. You’ll get what you paid for. true japanese-made car. bonus nalang ang Bose sound system + the 5yr free PMS👌🏻

Between a basic Civic and a basic HR V, I'll take the HR V kasi mas matangkad siya sa Civic. Galing na ako pati sa both Civic and CR V so HR V naman...itong base HR V fits my needs as a senior...di ko na gustong ma-tempt by speed...kayong mga bata na lang.

Mas preferred ko prin yung Manual transmission, Kaysa Automatic. Malamang habang tumatagal yan 5-10 yrs. Ewan ko lng kung hindi mg loko yang automatic /CVT. For me lng nman.
