Instead of purchasing the SEL, consider purchasing the top level Hybrid. You get all the tech and enjoyment of the top level trim, and the Hybrid option saves you the difference in price in fuel costs. Your out of pocket cost is the same; car payments are higher, fuel costs are lower. And you enjoy higher trade in value as well, when the time comes. I love mine!
Great review. I have the same year, same trim and it's been an excellent car. One thing I want to mention is the dash, you can actually change the way the dash looks, if you prefer the traditional circle gages over the cubes.
Quick question, what country is this SEL from? I'm from the United States and my 2022 SEL does not look the same. I don't have the ducktail wing and my interior dashboard is entirely different. The dashboard on your SEL is digital while mine is not. My model is from the United States California. Also I noticed that your badges are blacked out while mine are chrome. Is this a different trim or a higher package?
If it did, I did not notice it. I actually just bought a 2023 Elantra N which does have it, but its just a single strip under the air vent design and its honestly underwhelming especially if you have ever had a car that had really nice ambient lighting. So I could take it or leave it personally.
From my understanding, yes, if you have the convenience package. Which this one in particular did have. The wireless charging and heated seats are also part of it.
I've got a 2023 Electra hyundai. I've never felt more unsafe, or ripped off. Hyundai has failed me. This garbage vehicle is hackable. You can remotely trigger it to auto brake going foreword or backward, you can turn off its safety censor, you can brick the entire thing to prevent it from starting. This is not a safe vehicle. When I took it to a second hyundai dealer they accepted praying at my vehicle can fix it. Even though it was less then a month old, and hacked, it was not covered under hyundai warranty
