Thank you all so much for doing these videos. We just purchased the 2022 Tucson and I have learned a lot from you from your various videos. Our salesman was a total idiot and didn't know how anything worked on the car. Come to find out he gave us so much mis-information about the car and was apparently just making things up when telling us about the car. For one example, he couldn't figure out to get the smart lift gate to work and told us that it doesn't work correctly and they would have a fix for it sometime in the future. After watching your video, I tested it out and it works just fine, just as you showed, and I just had to enable the feature in the settings. I wish we had you guy's as our salesman!
Thank you for the very useful videos. So far I like (but I do not love) my 2022 SEL hybrid Hyundai. I am annoyed by some things that are missing/not needed for this trim level. This include heated but not cooled. One would think a heated is not really that important since the body would generate its own heat after sitting, especially on a cloth seat, which is the other issue. The hybrid version of the SEL trim does not come with the leatherette seat option and there are only 2 color options (really one because they are both black and not black and grey). Bluelink activation and support are a mess. Finally, I can't understand why Hyundai does not have the Walk Away Auto-lock on the Tucson like most other brands. I'm so used to that feature from my Honda, I often end up walking away and forgetting to lock the car. All these may seem very minor features but they are very annoying to me, especially for the price point of the car. I will not recommend this model until these issues are fixed.
Since this is a power liftgate if I pick up an item that sticks out of the back of my trunk will I be able to get the gate to close and will it stop before hitting it and then I can tie it down like I used to do in my old Santa Fe I now have the Tucson hybrid thank you
Useless. when you don't want it to open and you are behind??? More useful get the bloody auto-lock of the car working after 5min. Cars more than 10 years old lock automatically after a set time.
