How's the gas mileage on it? I test drove one a few weeks ago and I kind of got the impression that the gas seem to go down really quickly.

@@lkleo6211 oh darn. What seats have you tried that felt good? I have Arthritis in my spine and understand back pain daily. I purchased supportive breathable cushions for my 2019 VW Tiguan driver seat.

@@2004cyrus The seats in the Audi are ok, Subaru Forester good, Nissan Rogue pretty good, just a big bolster to climb over to enter and exit. Ford Escape good, Ford Edge very comfortable (but it's being discontinued after next year). BMW, just like Lexus, no support; felt like there was a space behind my back that I just sunk into. Volvo XC 40 very uncomfortable. Im' looking for a small SUV with good safety and convenience, and enough power to feel confident behind the wheel. Also want AT; in my experience CVT gives car a feeling of floating and not enough control. I agree with some reviewers here about the signal lights at the back of the 2022 Tucson.... Way too low to be visible on highway for a taller vehicle to see in a quick moment. Kia Sportage has the same flaw. Good luck!

yes I agree. when I test drove a SE it did not have it but when I chose the showroom floor model SELI found out as I was driving home. I HATE IT. Had a 2017 Infiniti qx30 for two years got rid of it for that reason..HATE IT!!!!!!!!

Agree my BMW X3 has the same features, so I use sport mode which negates the stop/Go feature

Which trim level did you buy? I test drove an SE and an SEL and I liked the SE more because it doesn't have the push button start, I prefer a key. Although the SEL does have air conditioning for the back seats. I'm really on the fence about this one I don't know if I want to get it.

@@ajossi I wouldn’t recommend a key. My 2020 Elantra got stolen because it wasn’t push start. There’s an epidemic going on with stolen cars here in Wisconsin with both Hyundai’s and Kias because they’re easy to steal with key start. Ended up getting the 2022 Tucson SEL since the Elantra ended up being a loss. I’m happy with the Tucson though

Yeah that's been a worry of mine too with these hyundais. Although I had a 2011 Hyundai Tucson and I recently sold it last month and I never had any issues after driving it for 10 years. I hope this is 2022 model doesn't have any problems I kind of want it

True.. I had stupid problems like.. all the door locks broke ( and I mean all) , the window motor needed replacing driver door, The tailgate button is intermittent, and the turn signal lever had to get replaced That was $550.. all that replaced Just outside of warranty.. about $2500.. That was the 2016.. still it's my favorite SUV I've tried most.

@@jonp2338 Love the color, getting used to not having certain features, had flash drives made for my music from CD's, 14 albums on each drive, nice. Calypso Red is beautiful btw. I got near what I wanted, as I said, love the linear dash, the rakish body lines, so....I've very happy with the purchase.

Also wanted to mention I was not able to get any discount off of the msrp sticker price 😡 $38k and with tax and extended bumper to bumper warranty $43k😢

@@ddkim619 damn! Yeah I just drove an SE a couple weeks ago because I think they hire trims are just too expensive. I'm still not going to buy the SE at 24,000, if the dealership doesn't give me a hell of a lot more discount I'm probably not going to get it.

@@blackwhirlwind1245 In the US there is an N-line, but the same 2.5NA. There should be a full N with a 2.5T, but so far there is not one, and not announced. Hyundai is missing an opportunity here.

I think it’s about what you can live with. Sounds like you probably ought to stay away from this one. I am grateful that reviewers don’t go down a rabbit hole with speculations on the durability of plastics. That would be a huge mistake, and slippery slope and not their job. Manufacturers would cut them off quick.

@@2004cyrus glossy black plastic scratches easily and it sticks out like a sore thumb - something you apparently haven’t figured out. It’s not going down a rabbit hole it’s called being upfront. And he gets his cars from dealers.

You're pretty much in control of that swirl look. Water down thoroughly before washing to dissolve grainy dirt. Don't constantly towel it up in circular motion. Don't use harsh wash brushes or self wax it with that damn turtle wax. Machine car wash with wax only.

My 2016 has a little gloss black by the radio I keep a soft duster in the car with a handle I wipe her down every two days with that I just leave it between the seats for when needed Does the screen clusters nicely as well
