Wish the 116 had the black accent on the engine instead of full chrome..in my opinion it looks 10x better that way..il prob go with the 111 and put a cam, intake and a power comander, increase the timing with a good 91 tune will wake that 111 up..I believe torque different between the 111-116 is only about 20-23 lb..and the pearl white on the 111 I prefer over the 116 black,blue,red
I think the bags just might work for the scout bobber. Because the back fender is more like the scout bobber. How come they don’t have those for the scout bobber?
Thanks for the overview it was great. How are bags like that in the weather vs hard bags? If I get caught in the rain is my stuff getting wet? If I drive to work are they firm enough to keep my laptop safe?
They are a hard plastic leather wrapped bag. They are more like a synthetic leather I believe though. The sides of them is firm and will stay true to form. They are not lockable so a hard bag with a lock is more secure. The top is over lapped enough that they really should allow too much water in during a rain storm. However, they are not fully sealed so a water proof bag is advised if you want to keep your items dry without worry.
@@MinnowMoto Yeah I think they have a nice bike going right here. I ride a Chief Vintage which is a totally different chassis. I want to put some miles on this to see how the ride is in comparison. My Vintage has tan leather bags so I have no issues with the bag setup. I hope to do a ride video on it soon. Sadly April in Wisconsin is a strange month weather wise and it hasn't quite so nice lately.
