Deepest heartfelt condolences to you Mike. I lost my younger brother when he was 31 and I was 34. Fast forward now I am 68 and still miss him on occasions. The intense loss will last for 6 months but the memories will hit you from time to time. I supported his only son from 3 years old and happy that now his son got married and have two children. Yes, carry on your brother's legacy and may his soul rest in peace 🙏
Mike, This is the first time that I watched a video on RU-vid and decided to write you a comment, I started watching your video on how most of your friends have caught Covid in Shanghai and it brought me to this vlog. I am inspired by your sharing of trials and tribilations of your life in Shanghai in such an authentic way, I've been in Shanghai for 28 years and have recently contemplated leaving after experiencing the changes to the city over the past few years. I am of the belief energy never dies, it only transforms, I am sure your brother is somewhere in the universe with the rest of us. If you ever end up back in Shanghai drop in on the corner of Gao You Lu and Fu Xing Xi Lu for a couple glasses of Vino in a "不起眼的私人小酒屋“, I'd love to share a couple of glasses of vino with you. Take care, my deepest condolences and the best of everything to you and your family.
My deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your brother. My dad passed away suddenly, two weeks ago. Also in his sleep. And I’m still stuck in China. I had to attend his funeral online. It was the saddest moment of my life. The loss is so great and painful, it’s so difficult to explain it to people. May God comfort and guide you in this extremely difficult time.
And I know you're shinning down on me from heaven. Like so many friends we lost along the way. And I know eventually we'll be together. One sweet day.......!!!
Hey Mike, I’m so sorry to hear about your big loss about your little brother, my condolences. This must be so hard for you. You’re in my thoughts and prayers. We’re all here to support you.
May your brother rest in peace. I am very sorry to hear of your brother's passing. I miss my parents dearly and I haven't seen them in 3 years...this teaches me to cherish all those that I love in my life.
Hi Mike, may your brother rest in peace. It’s very heart warming that although you are in different countries, you kept your communication every week. Your brother knew that you love him, and that’s what supported him through his journey. We know that you feel sad and also feel all the responsibility at this moment as a son, a brother, a dad and a husband. We want you to know that all of us your fans want to give your our best support and we wish you and your family the best. Please do not stop posting videos, we don’t want to lose you as a very important friend.
It’s okay to grieve, Mike, it’s part of healing. Take your time and keep your brother’s memory with you always, and all will be fine one day. You are in my prayers.
Mike, So sorry to hear about your loss. I've been following your videos since your family got Covid and you were all locked down. My family is Shenzhen-based and all currently sick with Covid, including my five week old boy. Your videos were an inspiration to me and my wife during some of those dark days of 2022. I Hope you don't give up the art. Best wishes to you and your family, Teacher Colin
Deepest condolences, Teacher Mike ... you have put in great effort to connect with your brother multiple times every week consistently and I'm sure your little brother cherished those moments dearly and knew in his heart that you cared a lot. He left this earthly world bringing along heaps of love from you and your family and all the fond memories of the great things he had accomplished. You have been a great brother!
It’s really hard to say good bye to your love ones but at the end it is part of our life and the only thing that you need to do is trying yo live without regrets. You are doing great Mike!
I am so sorry for your loss, Mike. It's hard to be grieving and also to be taking care of your parents during this time. I pray that God's peace and comfort will be with you, your family, and everyone who knew your brother. From your words, it's clear to me that he was an amazing person, he was well-loved, and that he knew you loved him very much. Take all the time you need to grieve and support your family and your brother's business. Don't worry about the videos - family comes first. Hugs to you and your loved ones. 💜
Sorry to hear about your loss, Mike. Life can be so unfair sometimes. I know how painful it could be to think of all those memories, but your brother deserves to be remembered. As awful as it feels, it means you love him dearly. Take care.
My condolences, Mike. 2022 is a tough one. I lost my dear grandma at the beginning of the year, and my grandpa 6 months after. I couldn't attend their funerals because of the covid policy, and I'll also regret not being able to spend more time with them. I also experienced the Shanghai lockdown, and it was a lot of mental stress for me as well. Only time can heal the wounds. It also makes me appreciate life and time with loved ones a little more. Hope you will see the light from all these traumatic experiences. We are with you!
So sorry to hear your loss. Thanks for sharing your sadness and your younger brother’s life in RU-vid. You and your folks are in my prayer. Maybe you can make a few videos to share more about your brother’s life stories with the world. May you find comfort in knowing that your brother Dan has lived a fulfilled life. May God comfort you and fill you with his love in time like this.
Hey Mike, so sorry to hear your loss. I am amazed by the three weekly calls between you and your brother. It obviously didn’t happen to most of the siblings; let alone each of you had a busy schedule. You are a good big brother and I’m sure your brother appreciated your help and support even after the very last minute of his life. Cannot imagine if you didn’t have the habit of checking on him on Skype. Glad you made it back to the U.S. , so that you all can spend more time with your parents. One can make money anywhere but cannot get freedom everywhere. You made the right decision to come back to the free world. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your family!
I’m so sorry about hearing your loss of your bro, R.I.P Dan🙏 Life is tough but it still goes on. Cheers up Mike for the ones you love and care, and those who love you too!
My deepest condolences to you and your family, Teacher Mike. May all the loving memories of your little brother carry you and your family through this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.
Few years ago, I lost my younger sister to cancer. I totally understand how you feel. Stay strong and take good care of yourself and your parents. Peace.
So sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, Teacher Mike! May Dan rest in peace.
