The same old pentastar. A great engine in something like the lighter wrangler swb, not this barge.

Are Australian buyers considering a Jeep when they go out on a Saturday morning looking for a vehicle that’s $115k? With their history on previous models that’s a big ask

I drove it last Saturday. Great build. Pretty, but confusing interior. It’s big and cumbersome to drive. The biggest let down is it’s engine. I had it in my 2011 GC. It is wheezy, out of breath and the gearbox is patchy under load. Go for the Palisade if you must shop in this segment.

The palisade’s 3.8 engine is equivalent to the Jeep 3.6 and the Jeep’s 8 spd is a touch better than the Hyundai, but night and day vs the 5spd in your 2011. The only part of the Hyundai that was panned was its engine performance which the Jeep matches or bests.

@@markleckband4495 The Jeep needs everyone of those 8 gears. My point exactly. The Palisade also has the diesel which has 440nm torque, S which makes it more comfortable to drive. This Jeep needs the a diesel.

Re-sale values for Jeeps are horrific..! Went to a reputable dealership of a very popular vehicle brand, to consider a trade in on my 2021 (updated) Jeep Compass S Limited fully optioned..paid $56k..was offered $23k....They're explanation for such a pathetic offer, was 'reliability issues.."

Jeep is really not top notch for reliability. It has one of fastest price drops after you buy it.

There will be 3.0 L6 twin-turbo replacing 3.6 V6 first and then V8 comes with 6.1, 6.4, 7.0 hemi & 7.2 magnum.

Rear looks Mitsubishi Outlander-like.

Cool car but way to luxurious and expensive for a Jeep. Fun starts when the warranty ends

Although I like GC, however this video obviously has marketing strategy and not reliable as review. Cheers
