I actually love the stearing wheel. Just put your 4 fingers on top of the bottom of the stearing wheel and cruise. Great video 👍🏽👍🏽

I love the carbide series….I’ve got a series 1…. I love it!! I think the flat bottom of the steering wheel looks good and it’s nice to hold it while driving

Thanks for watching and commenting! The steering wheel took a day or two to adjust to but I like it! 👍🏻

Great video brother. I have the grand cherokee L. But this wagoneer looks great I'm about to upgrade. Keep posting more long term reviews to see how it hold up

The size is definitely one of the key reasons people are buying these. I've had a 2023 GW-L on order for several months at this point, but thankfully it will still fit in my garage.....but only because a cabinet in the rear of my parking bay fell apart on me a year ago, anyway, so that gives me an extra 2.5' of depth to work with.
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts Год назад
She’s a big girl for sure. We managed to make it fit in ours but it requires precision parking to be able to close the door and my wife isn’t risking a mishap so it stays outside.
@digitaloracle3079
@digitaloracle3079 Год назад
@@QuickShifts I'll be able to fit ours in the garage, but the trunk won't be able to open, unfortunately. My main concern...or wish, rather....was that they included even an option for 4-way turning wheels as given the length, it's going to make some tasks in my area a little more complicated, of course, between parking in tighter areas and general commuting.

I have the load Series 1. No issues like you have. It rides considerably better and more solid than my Sequoia and former Yukon. I will buy another when they get a hybrid.

How about the front a-pillar's size does that creates a big blind spot when driving. As SUVS tend to reinforce A-pillars which results in making them huge and block the drivers view of the front left and right sides.
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts Год назад
You are spot on about the A Pillars. They are big, but fairly close in comparison to other suv like a Chevrolet Tahoe. Blind spots can happen, like at a stop and people crossing the road thus you must have special awareness for those situations. That being said, while driving it is not hindering in anyway. It is as you expect it. No worse than others but no better either. Ours has the safety sensors in the front and back that certainly help prevent any “incidents”.

Just rented one of these from Enterprise. Got us up to south shore lake tahoe but was dead in the water after sitting out in the low 30 degree temps. Wasn't from leaving ignition or lights on either. Battery had to be fully charged after a 5 hour drive right? Even a 5 minute jump start wouldn't revive it. Read that these have a serious electrical drain coming from possibly the entertainment system or something. Had to Lyft 40 miles to get a replacement since it happened on a Sunday, an absolute nightmare when on vacation with kids waiting and snow all around. Sorry, I know its the last thing Jeep fans want to hear but I know after reading other reviews on this model this is not a one-off thing.
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts Год назад
Funny, this is the first I’ve heard of something like this. The glitches are with the radios but it’s not a battery drain, it freezes up the screen. I’ve let mine sit for over a week and it’s not dead. Really sounds like a bad battery not a bad truck. But yes, that would be Uber frustrating on a family vacation. I hope enterprise made it right. I fear my Gladiator leaving me stranded due to the stop start second battery much worse then the Wagoneer. Thanks for commenting and watching.
@silverfrosty1869
@silverfrosty1869 10 месяцев назад
You can't use that data towards the car as there are too many unknown variables with multiple customers and lack of care from a rental company. That battery could've been close to gone already.

Beautiful truck! How do you find the build quality compared to the GCL?
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts 2 года назад
It’s like a big GCL really. Aside from the two items I pointed out in the video, I would actually say it feels better assembled in that it has no interior rattles. Our GCL had a slight rattle from the rear that I was never able to pinpoint exactly. The Wagoneer is luxury quiet inside. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Question...what's the deal with the slant 6 turbo vs the hemi....is that a slant or straight six?
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts Год назад
it’s a inline 6 cylinder. it’s supposed to cut emissions, increase fuel efficiency and be more powerful. But it is new and not tested yet. Here is a link to more information. media.stellantisnorthamerica.com/news release.do?id=23660&mid=

By ALL MEANS I would definitely suggest going back to YOUR dealer and show them the issues you have and require them to fix them ( YOU ARE PAYING TOO MUCH to have to put up with these flaws ) you should NOT be lifting a finger to correct obvious production issues ! You are sounding TOO NICE !

I am OCD and those two flaws would really piss me off. That is major to me on a car that is at least $75k out the door. You will not find those kind of flaws on European or Japanese vehicles. I really like the Wagoneer but it is stuff like this that keeps me from buying an American brand. There are always quality control issues.
@QuickShifts
@QuickShifts Год назад
I can’t argue with you. It does bother me and it is not fair to “just be happy we got one” due to the current silly market situation. I wish I had seen it before I signed the papers. But I do think I can correct the issues. 👍

Thanks for watching and commenting. What do your calculations total for the cost to produce one and how much profit do you think is fair to cover production cost and SG&A? They aren’t cheap. But when you start comparing them to other vehicle pricing, it’s actually very competitive. If you compare pound to pound, it’s a freaking bargain! 😉😀😁

As weird as that sounds, it all helps me. Sometimes I not only learn to do something better in a video, but I also learn how to communicate better with others. Even in what seems to be a negative interaction, there are positives to be taken away from it. It’s all in how positively one chooses to take it. Thank you to you both, you both gave me an opportunity to take something positive away from the interaction. ;)
