Complete video of how we fished this years Kewaunee Door County Salmon Fishing Tournament. Our adventure was off the shores of Washington Island including full moon fishing and being chased off by severe thunder storms.

In Michigan,we’re told that the kings with the yellow dot are from Wisconsin.🤷‍♂️

Its actually neither, fish in the Pacific get it as well. It's just a natural birth mark the salmoniods of all species can have, especially kings though.

Congrats on some great fish. Got to have stamina to fish that night bite but it paid off especially the first night. Congrats on getting a port prize. Looking forward to your next video!

I have got to come up from Virginia and catch a salmon never have. That's my bucket fish I have already got a 500 pound blue fin in my 20 ft boat it was my bucket fish but now salmon is on the brain. My family is from suburbs of Detroit. So I need to come visit.

@NFN Just last week i caught a 34 lber 40 and 1/2 incher out of Kewaunee. Yes the biggest in 50 years of fishing the big pond. I notice as you are getting older, you have less video's coming out lol. Don't let your age slow you down young man.

Hi Nick, I just couldn't find an in-line loop knot I trusted to use your SW Dipsey. However, the idea is too good not to use! What I did was take a length of mono and run it through an eye on my micro-swivel between my braid backer/mono leader. I then tied a figure 8 knot in that length of mono that passes through one of the micro-swivel eyes to make the loop. So far, it works great. Thanks Nick!
