I have 71 reg eNiro 4+ and the system is different in a lot of ways. For instance I can find no way of stopping the satnav screen going into 'dark' mode at night. I HATE IT! anybody got any ideas?
Thanks for the detailed info. Will see it few more times to get hang of it. 😊. Question: when I have the radio on , I am unsure how to power it off. It says that there is a powe off button on the head unit ( the screen where we swipe). However I can't seem to find it. Lmk if possible
Thanks for posting. My Niro keeps defaulting to regen level 2 in the Vehicle settings whenever I restart the car. Any idea how to ‘save’ the setting to be level 3 please?

You mentioned that apple car play is full screen. My new 4+ eniro is splitting the screen for apply car play similar to what you showed android auto doing. What am i doing wrong. I have the wire plugged in underneath the infotainment unit.
In the settings there is an option under carplay for split-screen and full-screen. You have to select full-screen and it will be. 02:52 there is a little settings wheel.
I’m in Brighton, just bought an e-Niro second hand . Can’t get Kia connect to connect. Message no service in this area. Please try again in area with reception. Kia garage no help.
It may genuinely be that you have no data reception where you live on the network that the car is using (no idea what they use). I would try somewhere else to see if it fixes it as a first step.
Do you know if there is a way to display the battery as a % whilst in apple car play mode? I don’t have the option for split screen on my e Niro 4. Thanks
Are you able to turn on split screen? I haven’t seen any Kia models that don’t have it. It may be turned off in the settings. You will have to use the battery level on the driver display.
@@colinlambert791 Yes, they are very annoying. It's not like its a decent sounding tone you can tolerate. These tones in some of these modern cars are so boisterous which makes you so fed up of listening to them after a good while. I don't have this car anymore. I was renting one while I was doing Uber. I'm not doing Uber any more.
@@TechInTheCar - you don't need to - update your software. Latest version is something like 20220211. You'll need a 64Gb USB stick and an hour or so - must be in Utility mode. Actually you should mention that before going through all these settings.
Got rid of my 2020 Kia Niro EV poor quality paint and clear on rear wing and roof rails deteriorating rear taillight seals and the absolutely blinding silver horizontal trim on dash when the sun hits it forget about it horrible
If you get the ENiro with wireless CarPlay don’t bother buying a media dongle it doesn’t work I just brought one. The only way to get RU-vid and stuff in CarPlay is using a jailbroken iPhone
Understand pretty much NOTHING your talking about.........and I just got this car. Hope to find a more BASIC explanation. like Im a 5th grader and know nothing i guess.
