I used this car for bolt, it was perfect even on petrol. I was renting it for R2500 per week. But had to renegotiate with the owner to give him R2000 per week coz 2.5 was leaving me with nothing, but he refused so I gave him back his car.
Muzi, I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart for talking the honest truth, I am a big fan, I watched your videos and you showed me the way. I was driving a Renault Duster, great car but I could not afford the payments anymore, like you say I saw flames. I traded my duster for a demo model PEGAS, and I am so impressed with it. Bozza thank you for showing us there is no shame in down grading your car, and uplifting your pocket. I thank you Muzi 😎. You are making a big difference in people's lives. Kind regards Shaun Castelyn
Parents got this car coming from a 2008 Picanto. For the price compared to rivals I think it stands it’s ground alright. Power is good enough, way better than the old car. Only gripes I had when I first saw it and drove it myself were the window controls in the center, the one armrest, center display not the best quality, compared to other cars I’ve been in but I can’t complain for my parents as it’s the first car they’ve owned with a center display. Other than that, fuel economy, comfort and power are good. It’s a solid buy but of course it won’t be many people’s first choice
Ayi this channel is the bomb💣 Just when you think you've seen it all and your mind is set right then boom!!! "A budget sedan we can afford but we don't want"🤣🤣🤣 Welcome to Friday Night
I don't like the small R 14 wheels but it's a really nice car to be honest. But for R 256 000 I'd rather add 4k and try to negotiate for a Baleno GLX at R 260 000 which comes with R 16 alloy wheels and 6 air bags. I know they might not be competitors but that's the Baleno is value for money. But it's a nice car, i used an Uber recently with some guy driving it. It's decent.
Ja true Muzi even people who likes driving a lot but nowadays they opt for automatics❤️. Another thing I used to hate this new sound track of yours when you first introduced it but now I'm getting used to it ❤️😊, Dankie Watching from CPT
the comparison between Polo sedan vs Polo life hatchback is spot on, they at literally the same amount per month R7K but the hatchback has a sunroof. i hope you highlight it alot when you review the polo sedan. im a sedan guy but i would never buy the new polo sedan coz its the same price as the hatchback and offers no sunroof. will be getting the hatchback.
Many thanks for the guidance and content Muzi. It's been very eye-opening for amateurs like me. Visited a Suzuki dealership today and they said the Suzuki Baleno Gl manual would be R255 000 plus an additional 12k for admin/licensing fees. My jaw dropped 🙆🏾♂️Does this make any sense? Is it the lack of stock or they were just stretching things out here?
The price of the GL increased to R 231 900 from R 225 900, where the R 255 000 comes from i don't know. That is daylight robbery and don't fall for it. They're mad.
@@lesediseemela9856 Sho Lesedi, yeah man i had seen the 231k new price and actually didn't mind that much as well. Was thinking things would get to 245k if they're being extreme...but when they said 255k + 12k alarm bells rang. Thought i was being super naive. Thanks.
Service plan is simply a fancy word for oil, oil filter, spark plugs & air filter change. No parts are covered on service plan. Other parts are covered on warranty plan, that's your infotainment system, your gearbox, your lights, etc
I enjoy your uploads mfanakith'. Mostly because you are realistic regarding affordability for the masses. I have a request... One of these days, mawuthola ithuba, please check out Honda BR-V Elegance for us... Automatic
This car looks like the Kia Soluto which is more a match for the Dizre and that class of cars, the Ciaz would be a step up. Against the Dzire it would lose on price and value. On the airbag thing, yeah a hatchback is cool until you have a child, when you do the practicality of a hatchback goes out the window the first time you have to take a long distance trip with that baby. A car like the Pegas would make more sense as you have a more accommodating trunk for all the stuff you will now need to carry. Dont get me wrong 6 airbags are cool and a drivers kneebag is even better, but if you think cars are expensive now🙄. In most cases you cant just add curtain airbags, you have to re-engineer the whole car to fit them in. Finally i see the Swift Sport tugging at your heart strings Muzi, dont deny its pull😁
Hello Muzi. Perhaps I missed this in some of your videos. When you get a chance, could you please explain the engine sizes in relation to fuel consumption.
Hi Muzi I saw a kia picanto pricing @ R179999.00 and the installment was frm R2,999.00 but what I didn't understand was that " Effective 1 October 2022. Subject to repo rate adjustments. Excludes on the license and registration, initial fuelling and delivery fees, additional accessories, bank monthly service fee of R69.08 and once-off initiation fee of R1207.50. Deal is subject to the approval terms and conditions of MFC, a division of Nedbank Ltd reg 1929/001225/06. Authorised financial services and registered credit provider (NCRCP20). Errors and omissions excepte"
I don't even watch these videos for the cars anymore. I watch because of you. The things you say is too funny. I love your videos too much. These people are going to ban you from the dealership. Pegas sounds like phala phala 🤣
Nice car, lols funny its being reffered to BUDGET with a price tag of R245k😂 But then for me baleno makes sence than this, if you can stretch your budget from R245k to R295k then run to Suzuki and get yourself a baleno… i just dont know about the 4 gears automatic gearbox that comes with it.
Crazy expensive, for example you'll see a new 3 series being released globally with specs & pricing. Then ofcourse you do the conversion from pounds / dollars to rands. But then when the car is released in SA, the price is like 3 times 😭
@@scellowmcineka4087 I always do those convection thinking that okay the car will cost this much here in South Africa but when it arrives is different story. Even the cars which are being assembled here are very expensive. Hhayi ngeke I am going for Chinese cars mina manje.
But automatics at this price point of this car are not nice I mean those 4 speed autos, AMTs and CVTs aowa I think manual is better option for me at this price point
Bro, I hope you will be able to see this comment…here is the case, I like Fiat Tipo sedan very much….please tell me why I shouldnt buy it? Why are people always advised not to buy Fiat…yet There is quite a number of fiats in the streets …I dont know why people are always advised not to buy them, same as Renault cars… I want to extend my options and not only focus on the VWs as always advised..(I am aware of Suzukis thou)
Fiat's reliability scores arent the best, mind you they arent land rover or benz numbers but they are high for cars in the that segment. If youre into small cars get a Suzuki, they are the masters of small cars and they are reliable.
