Definitely an impressive toilet. I've wondered how one of these would fair on pressure assist or a high tank. hope you get the opportunity to do some more tests on it.
A good test for me would be is how far it pushes the effluent down a 3" pipe sloped per code. Even better a 4" pipe sloped per code. That is what would tell me if it has a good flush.
I have to say, I’m impressed with this toilet’s performance. We recently got one of these for our master bathroom and I was wondering if it was actually any good. I guess tho it’s not explosive diarrhea proof tho. That honestly doesn’t surprise me.
Do you think this is same exact as Home Depot Elmbrook? I'm looking for a reliable swirl/360/tornado flusher. Seems like the Cimarron is not liked. And not sure of the longevity/headache of the double flapper vormax? Elmbrook is $199 seems like the best deal? Or would you all pick something else? Thanks!
The trapway on the Elmbrook seems to be the same, i do highly recommend putting a normal flapper flush valve to install in it and adjust the water level higher than factory setting to get the best flush out of it
I got one of these and a $120 American Standard Reliant, both are still in the box, AS is not as durable but I'm concerned about Kuhler flushes, would tweaking the water level help with the weak flushing?
@@marytehrani2059Personally I'd replace the AquaPiston with a conventional flapper (2") and set the water level as high as possible without leaking anything. Then give it a go.
This did SUPER AMAZING, but the bowl rinse and the getting out of the bowl thing needs a LOT of work though. Lol. The trapway looks similar to an American Standard Cadet 2.
Overall, i think toilet is pretty decent actually. And it's better than the cimmaron rev 360 Only thing that sucks however, is the awfully short flush like this thing litteraly needs 1.6 GPF to make the flush a touch stronger (also 1.28 GPF is just not enough for this kind of toilet) Rating: 6/10.
I usually don’t like commenting more than once on a video, but I’m hopefully getting a revolution 360 Ellison very soon, we are doing bathroom renovations in my house, i have already bought a FluidMaster 2 inch adjustable flapper assembly for it as the AquaPistons are dog crap, i will however be keeping the AquaPiston, i have some plans for it
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Update: I’m getting the Elliston tomorrow (Tuesday) and we’ll have the plumber installed it on Wednesday, i will replace the aqua piston for the flapper because getting it installed and i will adjust the overflow to be like 1cm below the handle and have the water line pretty high to have it flush perfectly, the flapper will also be set to let the most water through
I got one very recently and i am putting a flapper in it, i will be posting videos, but not major tests as it is going to be installed in my bathroom, so i can’t really do performance tests, but the ones in this video already prove the toilet to be very good, but i will be doing some flush tests
@@ericwilliams1595 yeah, i did get one of these toilets and put a normal flapper and raised the water level higher than factory setting in it and it got rid of all the flush problems,
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations agreed, this low flow bullshit isn't working out and they keep on doing it. Half these commodes can't even take most of these tests like they did back then.
Yet another example of a modern toilet that needs nothing except a longer flush to beat the pants off any gravity fed classic toilet in every way. 1.28gpf doesn’t cut it for a siphonic, no matter what, regardless of the manufacturer. That could only work on a washdown.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations If you lived in a state where 1.6 was illegal, what toilet would you choose? I need a new toilet, but live where 1.6 is illegal.
I think it should have spun the rimless jet counter-clockwise as thar direction always performs better due to Coriolis assist. For the future, please place a drop of food dye in the tank so we can see the bowl rinse as that's hard to see in some of hour vids when you do the first performance flush.
The problem with these 1.28 GPF toilets is the flush is too quick paired with insufficient water. If it had a flapper with a float set to the bottom, it would do better on bowl rinse. They should get rid of those awful aqua pistons
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations Owen, I picked up a Kohler Wellworth Ingenium for $20 and restored it. Definitely a deal and has a great flush. I'll be replacing a Crane Galaxy with it
Can you please 🙏 do tests on the Kohler Cimmaron Revolution 360? I know they don’t preform well, but I just want you to do tests on the Kohler Cimarron Revolution 360 if that’s possible.
