I've heard Lexus have been selling a lot of cars recently and I absolutely love that. I love their cars and would love them to still be around when I eventually get that money for one. The V8, the look, the whole style is just perfect to me
I tried all the cars in its class, and the lexus IS stood out even if it was less powered than its turbo-charged counterparts which are all of them. NA for the win!
This is the only channel i know where you reallly have the feeling of driving these cars, love the camera angle and 3D audio............plus no talking . Thanks MR MILES,
Waiting for the new IS-F which has already been confirmed by Lexus a while back. Rumors are it will be unveiled alongside the LC-F and LS-F in November
Love these sunset drives the only negativ is you cant see the interior and the steering wheel because its too dark. If you could put some dim light inside or something that would be perfect.👌👍 Keep up the good work.
@@alengreen589 which is very odd to me because it's not distracting and really helps add a vibe to the car, especially when driving midnight with hardly no cars around.
Been wanting to see the back of this at night for a long time. Its really dope i like it. But i gotta give to the TLX for having the best rear end out of any new sedan at night.
The LC 500 also has the same V8 but doesn't sport the F badge nor staggered exhaust, vented fenders. Wish Lexus would keep that uniqueness to the F cars only.
I just test drove this car a couple hours ago. It was a good drive but it was during rush hour. So I didn't get to really drive it like I wanted to. If i do get one, they have White/White interior or Black/red interior. I haven't seen the black one yet. When you push down on the pedal it seems like theres a little bit of lag. But overall it was still a smooth and fun drive. What honestly blew me away is the mark livingston Sound system. Holy ishhhhh that thing BUMPPPS! Still deciding on what to do. The rough final price is going to be around 73k. I'm not sure if i can convice myself to pay over 70k for the lack of tech in this car. Like Apple play needs to be hard wired, CD player in the center console, USB-A instead of USB-C. Its going to be a really hard decsion. Mercedes is buying back my 2023 C43 AMG because i've had nothing but issues. I want to test drive the M340i but the closest one is like 2 hours away. SMH. Overall, I actually like this car a TON.
I'm in the market for a new luxury sedan also. It's between this Lexus , BMW M340i, or Genesis G70. I currently have an Acura TLX Type S . Let me know what you decided on. Good Luck
Same boat. Need a new car by April 2024. I’m actually coming from a 2021 c63 sedan. Tons of problems with it. For a similar price, my choices are: this Lexus is500, M340i, Audi RS3. I drove the Lexus is350 and it’s meh, (assuming 500 is also meh but with more power) drove the rs3 and it’s also meh unless pushing it hard. Didn’t drive the beemer. Not sure what to get. What did you guys end up getting?
You can bet on that that it most definitely will. There’s a reason why Lexus win’s JD Power and Associates award practically every year for the last decade for reliability. The competition can never say that.
A buddy of mine up here in Canada has around 400K km's on his or a little more and it's an 09. He literally drives it everywhere, to work, on road trips etc I swear it's immune to breaking down lol
I really wish they still made the GS-F or at least a GS-500 F-sport. The IS is great looking but looks a little cramped on the inside. Lexus needs a 5 series, and E class competitor once again.
@MPH. What are you impressions of the transmission under different driving scenarios? Were the gear shifts in normal driving noticeably choppy vs smooth and was throttle response laggy? I have owned an ISF before and the transmission and throttle response were very disappointing. Thanks for your input
@@MilesPerHr Do you happen to have any insider information on when the public will be able to get their hands on one? Only 500 launch edition released in North America 😅
No LED rear turn signals even with a new design, need to get the triple beams just to get front LED turn signals, puddle lights not LED, other interior lights didn't look LED and to your point no ambient lighting whatsoever...it's disappointing...
The ambient lighting being missing (as part of my disappointment of Lexus interior competitiveness) is a huge detractor, even as a Lexus fanboy. How else am I supposed to satisfy my perpetual inner frat bro without RGB
Personally i don't like the tablets, in any car. But I like this one just because there isn't screens everywhere and touch buttons with no real feel or feedback
This does not compare to the 2022 new Mercedes S class AMG !! I’m waiting for two more months I built it online it was $170,000 worth every Dollar plus it’s a convertible cabriole in red .
