Hope you enjoy my thoughts. Always remember that March Madness is unpredictable so no matter how much you know it DOES NOT MATTER because this shit never makes any sense. Now lets watch some basketball! Twitter: @coleadamss coleadamss
UPDATE: I changed one pick. I went with Colorado State over Michigan but I didn’t want to make an entire video just for that. That’s the only change I made! Probably doesn’t matter since my bracket is toast if you’re reading in the future. Hope y’all enjoy the madness!
every year i take your “breaking down every team” videos into a lot of consideration on making my picks, love the content man you’re doing great with this
I know i told myself I wouldn’t listen and just go w my first bracket but god damn it’s addicting trying to perfect it, i had davidson in elite 8 then saw he had them out first round and god idk
I would not, this man has memphis losing first round. Edit: he also has UNC winning the first round, UNC shuts down as soon as they start losing. Another edit, villanova is not losing to loyola, they’ll beat loyola and then lose the tennessee.
@@dannyrios2004 thanks for the opinion but u cant change my mind considering its madness and literally anyone can win but yeah i changed davidson to losing to duke but I dont trust duke
I’m grateful for your view of the Davidson/MSU game. Everybody needs to stop pretending that a guy who could barely earn playing time is now going to be the demise of his former program.
Foster Loyer is not the only player on the team. And he's the "leading scorer" bc he takes the most shots on the team by far. Davidson has one of the best chemistry in the country. If Lee and Brajkovic are on their games, MSU is gonna have a problem.
@@minjaekim680 I never said that Davidson wasn’t a good team or that they couldn’t beat MSU. They absolutely are and absolutely could. However, it’s an undeniable fact that Foster Loyer was not up to the standard of talent expected of a Michigan State/blue blood program. So the notion that this guy who wasn’t good enough to play for a certain program is now going to play a considerable part in now taking them down is pretty nonsensical. These takes are making no mention of the Davidson program as a whole and they are clearly modifying the story to only focus on Loyer and are leaving out the much more talented players, specifically Hyungjung Lee and Luka Brajkovic, which is blatantly disrespectful to them.
Great video and I appreciate all the hard work on your previous video. You are absolutely right the more you know the more you overthink things. My problem is I chalk up my bracket selection Sunday night then go back and change things 20 times. Hopefully you're correct with your tennessee pick. Vol Nation would lose their minds if qe make it to a final four.
Imagine if in the round of 64 every one of the higher seeded teams lost. I actually created multiple brackets and I did one bracket with all the lower seeded teams winning then went from there on predictions
This bracket is VERY similar to mine. Arizona's region is the exact same as mine the whole way through until the regional finals, in which I have Arizona winning. I also got Gonzaga winning.
Everyone is bias but this is a great bracket and good choices but the choices of the games and the ideas and what people think are off but still great to see what you think and hopefully it works for your bracket
Was excited to see you posting again for Madness. Used alot of your takes last year and won my bracket. Just out of curiosity how much do you take defensive efficiency and Net rank into your picks. For instance Houston has a 3 net rank which is impressive and San diego State has a 88b efficiency. Just curious if their important you know more then I do.
If the Zags win it this year, they will have earned it. They will have to beat some really good teams, if it comes to between arkansas or uconn, either one of those will be a down and dirty defense to overcome, Memphis will be a tough out. It would be way more impressive to get through this bracket than last year.
Do you know where Jelly Walker played before he transfered this past year? Tulane. Houston has played him numerous times. They’re familiar with him and have a top 10 coach. Maybe rethink that one
Iowa almost lost to Indiana and beat Purdue largely because Purdue beat themselves, as they mostly have been during big ten play (turnovers, fouls, bad defense). If Iowa shoots bad they’re done
I wouldn’t sleep on seton hall, TCU shoots over 50% of their shots in the paint and Seton Hall has a top 5 shot blocker in the nation statically. Combine that with the fact tcu turns the ball over on over 20% or their possession and Seton Hall is the more experienced team, I have the Hall
Man my bracket is so so similar. Except I have Davidson upsetting duke. Tech over gonzaga. Ucla beating Kentucky. And auburn beating Kansas. Tennessee over tech in the ship
I loved the bracket in the first round, but once you got near the end, I disagreed with a lot of your choices, especially Kansas. I think Kansas is going out earlier, either sweet 16 or elite 8.
@@mbdg6810 That's what I put too. I have Iowa going to the final four, they seem like the best team in that division, especially with the hot streak they are on. That division is just too easy though, this tournament doesn't have a very balanced bracket layout in my opinion, but what can you do about it!
I think Iowa is the only team that could knock off Kansas no offense to auburn but I think they peaked early. I picked Kansas over Iowa because Kansas actually played defense and they're offense is going to run wild on Iowa they're used to playing top 15 defense and Iowa has a defense ranked in the 100's
@@wesleyowens4089 I just feel like that whole division in the bracket has really easy competition. Auburn is not very good, Wisconsin will probably mess it up, and Providence is the luckiest team in this bracket and is not going to put up much of a fight in my opinion. I think Iowa is better, but even if they aren't, no way Kansas wins in the Final Four against Arizona or Tennessee, who I see as the 2 best teams in south division.
@@greenyoshi888 I have Tennessee in my final four they're playing really well right now. They're offense has drastically improved so they're more even with Kansas in that front and they're better defensively than Kansas I think it would be close but I agree Tennessee is paying too well right now. Arizona idk I'd have to watch them in the tournament because I really haven't watched them this year since their games come on so late
Okay. Here's the Question. So lately on the tournament there's been a 15 seed who takes down a 2 seed. If it were to happen this year. Who would be the most likely 15 to beat their 2 seed?
Lol what are the odds? Finished my bracket last night and we have literally the identical first two rounds, besides me thinking it’s Rutgers instead of Notre Dame. Good luck everyone!
South Dakota state scores a lot against bad teams. They've faced 1 top 25 team all year and lost. Providence is a veteran team who not only won the big east which is if not the hardest then is the second hardest division in college basketball and beat teams like Texas Tech and Wisconsin who both have higher seeds than them. If the game is close providence is 18-2 in games decided within 5 points with both losses to Villanova. People think being 18-2 within 5 points is lucky but knowing how to close out games, playing good defense, and making the shots necessary to win games is not lucky, it's just knowing how to finish games and especially in march that is something that is necessary to know how to do. People are freaking out over the 30pt loss to Creighton but also do not realize how hard it is to beat the same team two times in the year. Providence continues to be the most disrespected team in the country.
You have the same Final Four predictions as one of the most successful college basketball handicappers in the country. (I won't mention his name). I paid $$ to get his bracket picks; turns out I could have just watched this video instead for free :) Btw...he also has Gonzaga and Kansas making the final and Gonzaga winning
One of those games where it’s “too obvious” and doesn’t end up happening 😂 if all the popular upset picks happened every year, we’d have a perfect bracket by now lol
I disagree completely. I don’t think the final four will even have a single 1 seed. There just isn’t a team that’s separated themselves enough in my opinion to go all chalk.
That upset pick in the 2nd round is ridiculous. Villanova-Loyola is going to be a horrible game to watch. Like a 75-50 shellacking. My final four are Gonzaga, Villanova, Kansas, and MURRAY STATE (or Kentucky if the Racers can’t pull it off)
I'm skeptical. Fran typically doesn't make it out of the first weekend -- like, ever. That said? I think they finally do. However, they (likely) won't make it past the Sweet 16, IMO.
@@MrDuneedon he has never made it out of rhe second round. Although hes never lost in the first (one year we were in the play in game amd lost that). This year feels different to me tho
Based on what? Their really good guard? Their oldest roster since Coach Cal took over? Their player of the year big man? I'm not saying they definitely will, but Kentucky is legit, don't sleep on them.
