which car you went for eventually?

@@heanluen waiting for both CX-30 or XC40 whichever earlier, as of now seems to be CX-30 coming sooner.

BMW 3 Series is better in almost aspects and also cheaper than C Class. Despite 3 Series comes with better quality but C Class come with so many plastics

Pure cars unlike evomalaysia which sells so much snake oil.

Becoz the initial models were fully imported from Deutschland unlike the later ones buatan Malaysia. Gotta pay for the original Mercedes craftsmanship.

Agreed with the vibration. Felt it too strong to go unnoticeable even at idle.

But you can save your day by driving it to the workshop when it's punctured. Being there... done that

Go for C300, more bells & whistles and much punchier engine. Alternatively, a W205 C300 (facelift) from the previous gen is a good shout too. Avoid the 2018 - 2019 models though as they came with Airmatic (air suspension) on all 4 corners and will be a headache when it eventually fails. MBM replaced the air suspension to the regular passive sports suspension in 2020. Test drive, and go for the one that you love within your budget

Aircond button has to be physical, im not liking all modern cars ac touch button. Or at least put it as another option or spare rather than remove completely At least a cla gla has the button still

Talking about E Class. This new C Class is almost similar in size to the 2002 E Class.

Although W206 C300 has way higher horsepower and torque than W205 one, the 0-100 is slower by just 0.1s is kinda ridiculous but actual reason is because it weighs 1675 kg roughly. Heavier by 200 over kg then predecessor. Looks like less aluminium and more steel, more solid and hefty. Nice

I've test driven the C300 and actually made a booking when it was launched back in Feb. Whilst the interior looks very progressive, I personally found it less practical and not something that will sustain itself (esp. 90% of the time one has to rely on the centre ipad to navigate stuffs). I eventually decided to give this up for now (maybe will consider the future facelift model) and instead, added extra 30k and went for M340i. Whilst its a 2 yr old model and can look a little dated, but the interior is definitely of better quality (premium too), aside from the performance aspect and other premium fixes that comes with it. That aside, i somehow felt this C class has lost the premium exec saloon feel, compared to the W205. Still a good car, but just doesn't really meet the mark IMO.
