@@MrThegov1020 Yeah it sure is a mystery (lol). He shouldn't have been involved in this game given his clear bias towards OSU, but nice to see him have to eat his words.
The only thing that matches the feeling of winning today is watching it again on parkinggod's channel. Thank you for your dedication over the past 16 years to showcasing the BEST of Michigan Football.
Just like Corums breakout vs hio st a couple seasons back, Edwards goes nuclear right when Michigan needed it most ....he now has HIS breakout. If we get both these men to come back and anchor the pace of the game while JJ has a whole season under his belt to add more passing overall... This team could be top 3-5 team for years to come, if not higher.
5th or 6th view. Kinda on a loop. What's the difference between Columbus & A2....,if you've been to both cities, you know the score. Back to back w 3peat this year.
As an ohio state fan I wasn’t disappointed we didn’t win. Michigan deserved this win after working their ass of this season. We skated by and we just need to get better. Good game Michigan fans! Well played!
Thank you. For what it's worth, I'll be rooting for y'all in your bowl game. That's a high-powered offense you have there, although I thought last year's team with those receivers was deadly. I was literally on the edge of my seat until the last minute because the WRs had made one insane catch after another.
I honestly couldn't have ever dreamed that we could have gone back to back. I feel like Michigan FINALLY has that hungry team that wants more than just winning seasons #GoBlue
@@Calico341 As a Michigan fan, and an active-duty military officer, I know a LOT of Georgia fans who $h_t-talked the Big10 all year and who now begrudgingly admit they were wrong, about OSU, and about Michigan, and the Big10. You guys gave them a hell of a game!
I’m 23 and Mr parkinggod has supplied me with Michigan highlights for the last like 12 years. It’s been part of the routine since I can remember to relive all the big games via this channel
@@jayjones3969 it would've still been only been 2 turnovers because if they call the fumble stroud doesn't throw the second int, but if the refs didn't blow that fumble call michigan probably would've scored again to make the final score 52-23
1997 Penn State and 2006 Notre Dame were always the gold standard for me regarding road games. Seems like common sense that this HAS to surpass both. I still haven't completely grasped the epic-ness of what I witnessed today. I love you all, my fellow Michigan fans. Now it's on to Indianapolis! GO BLUE!!!!!
WolverineHistorian, how are you doing buddy? I still watch your vids. I hoped you enjoyed the game. But yeah, I think the second half of this game rivaled the first half of the '06 ND game. The PSU game was a complete undressing. I don't even remember tons of big plays against PSU, it was just a physical and psychological dominance....PS the second Edwards run reminded me of Wheatley's 88 yarder in the Rose Bowl. I showed your vid to my kids the other night. Stay pleasant....
@@desmondwilliams4068 I am doing GREAT! Still on cloud nine from this past weekend. And the second Edwards touchdown? I'm just sitting there PRAYING for 3 yards so Michigan can burn some clock. Instead of 3, Donovan gives me 85 and a touchdown. I wanted to scream and nothing would come out. A combination of shock and extreme happiness.
Glad to see you're still doing good. You haven't uploaded in a long time some of us got a little worried. Love your content been subscribed since high-school way back in 2006 same with parkinggod here yall were the ones to watch for michigan highlights still are lol
I’ll never get tired of watching this game. Not just because it’s the first win there since 2000, but I believe this will be the game looked back on that completely flipped the rivalry
- Outscored Ohio State 28-3 in the 2nd half - 21-3 in the 4th quarter - Ran for 252 yards without Corum (Edwards with 216) - JJ had prolly his best game of the year no doubt about it - Defense was lights out in the 2nd half - Back-to-back East division champs Not to mention all this with a QB that people said "cAn'T tHrOw DeEp BaLlS", a head coach everyone wanted fired and who took a pay cut just to beat the Buckeyes two years in a row, and without their bread and butter Heisman RB. Incredible, symphonious work done by Harbaugh and Co.
Well to be fair our QB can't reliably throw the deep ball. Yeah he hit a couple of wide open guys but that's kind of the bare minimum to be a QB. I'm super glad we won but 12-24 is a little concerning. Gotta throw better than 50% to beat Georgia. Hopefully Corum is back soon.
I was nerve racked all game long knowing how quickly OSU can score and turn a game around. This game, this win, is so much bigger than last year's win, imo. Watching JJ put a full game together (with some early miscues, sure), watching the offense rally and dominate the line of scrimmage late, and seeing the defense make the key adjustments they needed in order to close the game out was huge in so many ways. Like JJ said after the game, the job's not done yet. Here's hoping for a few more of these videos this season. For now, time to watch these highlights a few times over. GO BLUE!!!
Gotta add two things in here. First, I love how Mr. Parkinggod threw in Urban Meyer talking about OSU stopping the run right before showing those two huge runs by Edwards. Just 🤌 *chefs kiss*. Second, a major shoutout goes to Mike Sainristil. His first year as a converted WR to DB, he's been outstanding all year long making huge plays all over the field (none bigger than the pass breakup in the end zone on Stover). But also seeing him rally the defense on the sidelines and fire them up to help close the game out is what being a leader is all about. So happy to see him making an impact, regardless of what side of the ball he's on.
Well said, I was a nervous wreck all week thinking about the game and the way Ohno could put up big numbers, the 1st half was a track meet and the fact Michigan stayed toe to toe with them just trailing by 3 but after that 1st TD of the 2md half my sense of nerves eased and you could see the momentum tilt to Michigan, such a thing of beauty. The thing was that after they cut it to 8 it was a little nervous if they got a stop then the DON broke free
Dominance AGAIN. Man it has been some long years but the tide is turning in the big ten. A few more wins and maybe we can get the toledo strip back. Also the OSU lineman crying walking off the field was icing on the cake. GO BLUE 💙〽️
I can’t tell you how many times I will be watching this video for years to come. HISTORY was made today. WHO’S GOT IT BETTER THAN US?! 〽️〽️〽️ hoping for a few more videos from you this year parkinggod, thank you for all of your work and quality videos. You’ll always be my go to!
Without Words. Man, I've been Tailgating unnoticed over the years and to be honest, there's some type of Gladiator vibe to the Methods Us Wolver's bring forth when proving a point...Do or Die 💣100%
@@jamesbowen8960 I wish there were a site that would make a Michigan T-shirt showing the back camera view of Donovan Edwards rushing into the endzone with a giant block “M” at the top and tail lights at the bottom. It could read, “Oh to be a Buckeye…..”
@@danielchester7974 Well, that's certainly classic and a great idea. But what drives the Ohio State fans insane is the Michigan helmet, so you would have to include the winged helmet in there also!😭
Since this win, I've not really felt too many emotions, - which is insane considering we just beat the Buckeyes in Columbus. Then it hit me: None of this even feels real, man. I cannot fucking believe it. Two years ago we got absolutely dicked down by every team we played, and Harbaugh was winless v. OSU. Now it's 2022, we're 12-0, we just throttled OSU AT THEIR PLACE!!!!!! So fucking unreal man, I'm so happy. And as always, great highlights. I always watch yours before anyone else's. Thanks for doing what ya do!
Did anybody say we would crush them again? Did anybody predict JJ McCarthy was going to outduel CJ Stroud? Did anybody guess Donovan would explode for over 200 with a cast on? Did anybody think Cornelius Johnson would go off?
I litterally predicted it the whole year you can read my comments on other videos from months ago! I told everybody wer saving schemes for the deep ball until we play OSU because we didn't need it! Everyone thought I was crazy and slept on JJ!!! Hahaha iv been thru way too much as a Michigan fan to doubt or lose faith in my squad! Never thought Corum would miss this game but I knew we'd break them butteyes either way because we play as a team!!! Harbaugh is a legend and the best coach in the entire country!!!! Beating 5 star teams with 3 star talent!!!!! Back to back years !!!!!
I have watched this over and over again to hear Gus Johnson say......THE DON, what an epic nickname. Edwards old school train celebration in the end zone and JJ waving good bye and saluting the crowd was the Chef's kiss.
As good as the win against Bama at the rose bowl and the national championship was, this game in 22 in Columbus was special, I was floating that weekend that win felt so good
Parkinggod...Hands down the best channel to view MICHIGAN'S highlights week in and week out. Love it, my dad loves it, and many others from my family love it. This is a much appreciated work of beauty. Go Blue!!
Born in Michigan, raised in SoCal. I always thought the USC vs UCLA rivalry was the best. But I moved back to Michigan after 50 years in LA and I can say the Michigan vs Ohio State rivalry is far more intense. There is more hatred then respect between both states and schools. Losing a close game does not mean anything. Beating OSU means everything. It goes both ways.
Not sure if anyone else noticed, but Michael Barrett actually made that kid drop the pass on his crunching tackle and the refs called it a catch and it took an extra 30 or so seconds off the clock
The sack by Michigan with 2:41 left in the 4th quarter. The defensive lineman at the top of the screen. Watch the move he puts on the Ohio State offensive lineman. Real nice!
Wow, heard roman wilson say “i set you up” to CJ after that first TD. Went back and Roman Wilson was WIDE open in the middle of the field. Hopefully OSU keeps this DC 😂
Man I don't know how many times I've watched these highlights, this will never get old... So many big plays on offense from the passing game we didn't see a lot of all season but I don't care.... Micky's pass break up in the end zone was the biggest play of the game and will go down in history in this rivalry. I remember being upset about his switch to defense because I thought we would need him on offense but he came through for us on defense all year... Salute🙌🙌👏🏾💪 smart, reliable veteran we needed on the back end. Man... I bleed blue win or lose but these last couple of years have been incredible and I wish nothing but success for these young men...💯💯💪💪👏🏾👏🏾🙌🙌🙌😁 #GoBlue〽️💙💛💙💛
Highlights since my birth. Definitely earned a sub. Thank you so much for 16 years of amazing highlights. I started watching when I was 11! Now I’m 17!
4:50 6:20 game changing plays!!! And McGregor showed up huge in this game! EVERYBODY CONTRIBUTED The TEAM THE TEAM THE TEAMMMM〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️〽️💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Just the game footage was entertainment enough, but the clips of Urban Meyer twice putting his foot in his mouth make this video-of-the-year material. 🤣
As a Michigan fan I love watching this, but as a realist we should all know with these streaks come ebbs and flows, lets hope we flow for a few more years to even this series back out a bit, but know that Ohio WILL come back strong, they always do, as we(Michigan has), which is what makes this series/rivalry the best in college football, and thankfully this shows it is no where near slowing down... Good luck to Ohio against Georgia and Michigan against TCU, let all of us Michigan fans and Ohio fans hope for a rematch in the championship game, maybe the rest of the country would hate to see it again this year, but I know we fans of these two schools would love nothing more.... Cheers to all, lets meet up in Indy and have a hell of a game!!!
@@danielchester7974 GA is not the same team as last year they struggled and beat mizzou by 4 also struggled with kentucky who lost to vandy. The Tenn win is also not as good considering what south carolina did to them.
@@Kameraspie I agree they’re not as lights out defensively, but they’re still a very good team. We’re better than we were last year and I think we could give them a game.
@@danielchester7974 Let's say LSU beats Georgia in the SEC title game, all that does is shuffle the CFP seedings. Here is how it SHOULD look: 1-Michigan if they handle Purdue. 2-USC if they win the PAC 12 title game. 3-Georgia-if they didn't get blown out in the SEC title game. 4-TCU -if they win the Big 12 title game. Michigan would play TCU. USC would play Georgia. Winners advance to the title game.
@@Kameraspie UGA is better on offense and just a little bit worse on defense this season , but still has the best defense in college football. Not much different than last season and it's pretty much the same thing in Michigan too, better on offense and not as talented as last season on defense. The big 10 wasn't very good this year, so Michigan hasn't really been tested by a great team yet. But we'll see soon. Good luck and happy holidays
