It beeps faster in till it stop , it happen to me backing in the garage I wanna it to get really close to the wall and it scared the crap out me , just be careful if you try to see if it work , lots of blessings
Have you tested the front emergency brakes? I have es awc with convenience package. I see the front emergency brake on. But i never get any warning to brake for forward collision mitigation as i get in my other car. Wondering if the sensors are working. I tried few time to get close to car in front without braking to see if i get warning to brake. Any idea how does the front collision emergency brake works?
The emergency brake only works if there is a car in front of you and you've neglected to brake until the very moment and collision is almost unavoidable. That's when it kicks in - at the very last moment. Since it's highly dangerous to test it, I haven't tried it and I don't recommend you try testing it in traffic. Assume it's the same as AirBags - they are there, they will work if needed but let's hope you will never need them :)
@@saurabhpandey5528 I assume you're talking about the front brake? No, if it brakes for you then there are no warning to apply brakes. BUT - there is a collision waring system that will pass a warning in case of a danger that's avoidable by drivers reaction.
@@mr.mitsubishi thank you. Yes i am talking about front brakes/front collision mitigation. Do you know if the ES trim has this warning system or if it starts with higher trim level. How i was expecting it to work is that the front radar detects the car in front and if you are getting too close without braking it will throw some kind of warning to driver to brake before it eventually brakes itself to avoid collision. I get that with my 2018 camry.
@@saurabhpandey5528 Yes, they all have that safety feature, it's called Forward Collision Mitigation. Just go thourgh settings of the car to make sure it's ON. Also, here is a good video on what's all standard with the base ES: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L5DZM4tJN_A.html
Ouch! This system is designed to work on directly across objects. I you are backing up on an angle, chances are it won't stop of the object is more on the side.
@@mr.mitsubishi yes this is what hapened , i knew it was there but thought i had room to back up but it was just there enough to hit , 1st week i had it .. i purchased the platinum protection package from south side mitsubishi so they fix all scratches , dings or chips for 1st 3 years ..
I can! I've noticed if I go ten miles over the speed limit it will beep. To stop this, I slow to less than 10 above the speed limit. Hope this helps! 😊
It doesn't work.. Well I just hit my car 2023 outlander phev on a mail box 😢😢 Both emergency break option is on I got a big dent on my rear tail gate 😢
