Mitsubishi needs to improve their marketing. Yung dmax kalat na kalat sa socmed pero si mitsubishi wala. sayang ganda pa naman ng features ni montero ngayon kahit gls variant lang.
Thanks for the review. I think the market trend now for pick ups is more geared towards being a lifestyle pick up rather than a work horse truck. If this is the case then, ride and drive comfort and other features such as good infotainment and safety features is a necessity inorder to compete. Some would prefer to buy surplus korean mid size trucks instead when it comes to workhorse trucks. I mean, people wont spend 1.4million kung "pangharabas lang" sya. Just an opinion of mine.
I drive the 2020 version of this, and if may complaint ako is yung mejo mabigat na steering. kaya naman sya i 1 hand, but mejo lumalaban. I was using the Strada athlete for over a month, then nung nag drive ako ng sedan ng friend ko, yung steering sobrang gaan na minsan mejo nasosobrahan ko pwersa ng pag steer. Yung para bang nag work out ka ng dumbels then biglang mag buhat ka ng magaan.
hi sir @Auto PH, i drove the exact Mitsubishi Strada Athlete (with the exact same plate number too!) nung May 22 sa event nung facelifted na Xpander. i was so excited to drive it dahil isa ang Strada (GLS trim) sa mga options ko for a second car, and also because pangalawang beses ko pa lang makakapagdrive ng Diesel na sasakyan haha. i love the experience pero i really hope na magkaron ng improvements sa head unit, aircon control module and sa buong hilera ng mga blank switches.
Strada sir, in terms of more offroading and perforamance purposes because of center diff and fast acceleration, respectively. However the infotainment is kinda outdated. For comfort and more safety tech features, its the navara for me. In terms of look, both are the pretty good. Personally, I'll go for strada.
@@hansemmanuelfederis292 I prefer Navara's especially the power which is strongest among ALL the mid variant with Automatic transmission ready (lessthan1.4m)
if we compare these two tucks to their sole PURPOSE as a TRUCK then the Navara will win 100% because #1 bigger load capacity #2 better suspension #3 stronger engine (AT) #4 better ride comfort especially when fully loaded #5 best VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY
For me ok lang naman ung nakacurve ang di ko lang gusto para sakin lang yung medyo distansya niya from tail to rear wheels medyo hanging kasi tingnan malaki masyado ung distansya
@@MarkAnthonyCTutor agree. this strada kasi is the shortest wheel base in pickup segment since naka J-design ang cabin. also the curve makes it very difficult to put accessories sa rear since kailangan specific for strada. mitsu even have to put standard accessories and spoiler sa athlete variant to fix that flaw.
this is one of the reason why I choose Navara VE AT for my budget because though only a mid variant but surpassed some higher variants from other brands for example this one Strada Athlete. I still prefer Dmax's interior for mid variant but overall I prefer Navara's especially the power which is strongest among ALL the mid variant with Automatic transmission ready (lessthan1.4m)
