A great video, new Astra surprised in a positive way - regardless of the size, seems quite spacious + good interior. The only minus - price seems a bit too high, for 10% more you can have, for example Hyundai Tucson / Kia Sportage, at least in CZ these are price levels.

The new Astra went from being a boring granny car , to a beautiful ,fresh ,modern ,agresiv design but at the same time elegant design ,just like Mercedes did with their A-Class . Never thought I would say this but , I like it more than the Golf .. Golf 8 for me it's a disappointment in every single way 😕 I drove this Astra last week and I'm impressed in every single way from the design to the way in drives ,sound proofing , suspension confort, the interior ,everything . I mean come on ,that interior is like a cockpit ,the interior fit and finish is lovely ,the materials are nice , the whole interior design surrounds you when you sit in ,it just gives you a great feeling when you drive it overall 😀 I'm actually thinking of buying one 🤔

I've got mixed fillings about this one. I like the exterior design and how quiet it is to drive. The gear selector is nice and the infotainment screen seems somewhat integrated and isn't just a tablet sticking out of the dashboard. The rest of the interior looks mostly OK, apart from a few things. The bottom part of the central console - what a discussing glossy fingerprint magnet. I can't stand looking at it. The left air vent frame looks like a 3D printed prototype placeholder. And there is something off about the buttons on the steering wheel. They seem... toy-like?

The 140hp, 2 liter 2011 brazilian astra is still the best astra. (Manual ofc)

How does it drive compared to vw golf ?

You're doing great until you get to the dashboard. What laziness was that when it came to drawing? They put in two screens and that's great.

Такого разочарования от машины у меня еще не было. По-моему, с 15 года Астра...становится к каждым годом все хуже. К сожалению, не знаю как она по ездовым качествам, но вот интерьер и экстерьер такое сборище клише и штампов, в самом плохом смысле этого слова. Сравните сами на 0:45 вдалеке стоит J-ка прошлая, даже она в простом бедном белом цвете за счет своей формы и сложных фар смотрится респектабельнее. Раньше мне эта марка нравилась, вернее эта модель у опель, особенно GTS-ки были на острие дизайна, эти модели 2012-2015 годов по прежнему в дорожном потоке смотрятся свежо, стильно и вызывают у прохожих приятные эмоции, в них линии кузова грамотно перетекают с фронта на карму и назад. Пропорции соотношения остекления и количества металла радуют глаз. В этой модели астры ужасно все, особенно некошерно смотрится решетка радиатора 1:02 - словно недоработали и поставили глухую заглушку от серии "H" Сбоку карма 0:11 - аморфная, как у Golf или Seat. Боковые зеркала вообще не от этого кузова. 1:10 - глянцевые панели, придаток от старых Peugeot, жутко непрактичная вещь. Она красива только если не трогать. Но 99% времени на ней будут следы от пальцев, белая пыль и любые малейшие царапины. Центральная часть руля в которой прячется подушка безопасности и клаксон - мне кажется ее своровали у старого УАЗ Patriot. Вся центральная цифровая панель - это копипаста от Honda Civic хетчбек годов так 2008-2010. Сегодня такой дизайн могут позволить только самостройщики в гараже. Из хорошего могу отметить только заднюю часть кузова. Скорей всего именно её делал толковый дизайнер-инженер, а потом все остальное доделывали студенты. Вроде неполохая мультмедия, информативный монитора на приборной панели, подлокотник как у Toyota CROWN, удобные сидения для тех кто высокий...И все. Спасибо автору канала за видео, весьма подробно и неспешно снято, можно рассмотреть все детали и качество картинки приятное глазу! 👍👍

With all the respect to Opel, the new models are trash, it is not the same Opel that was one day, looking to the interior and the engine that's definitely an expired thing. The plastic is awful, even the interior handles are the same like in Peugeot or Renault cars. I own an Astra G OPC & a Calibra Turbo, but if one day I'll have the chance to buy a new car that won't be definitely an Opel - unfortunately. I was a fan until it was bought by PSA.
