the only feature i’m upset that they changed was the door handle for the front doors it was really fun to pull it felt so different i wish they found a way to integrate it in the new car but this does look cleaner and is still my dream car
Awesome video. I just subscribed to your channel. I also have a white/white MX Plaid on order - currently scheduled for August. Quick question: at about 7:26 into your video you have the Plaid parked in your garage head in and the Falcon wing doors open. How much room do you need on the side and headroom to do that…. I have a similar set up with the garage door motors and rails right on top. Thanks!
Is there not much deference in model x performance and plaid model x ? It’s only .4 difference on 0-60 is that really worth the extra 30K just wondering before I buy one thanks
Well, the Plaid can do 0-60 in 2.3seconds, while the Performance does 2.6 sec. That's a HUGE difference for 0-60... but what is most significant is what happens AFTER 60. The Plaid will do 60-130 in around 5 seconds. The Dual Motor takes more than TWICE as long!
Come on guys, the only. And I mean ONLY REASON to buy a S Plaid is to blow away EVERY CAR AND MC that challenges you at a stop light!....But NOW you can buy a X Plaid that is perhaps .5 of a second slower in the quarter mile and SAVE $20+K and have the SECOND BADASS CAR in the world!.... Personally, waiting to see the Corvette electric car has to offer...if not a thousand pounds lighter and a THOUSAND HP, GM will become a dinosaur!
Vehicle Virgins just did a head-to-head between Plaid X and Plaid S, and it was closer than I expected. Love the Plaid S as well, but in all truth, the Plaid X is so much more bang for the buck, with nearly equal performance.
Yes $20k+ doesn't really account for a half second slower quarter mile. Where the X will beat ALMOST every other PRODUCTION CAR, t he S Plaid DOES beat ALL PRODUCTION CARS... BUT FACE IT, for $20K you actually do have the fastest car,. Think of all those idiots that spend half a million to a few million $ on super and hypercars that still can't accelerate faster than an S Plaid... if I can find the money for the X model. I could find the additional $20k for the actually quickest production car! IMHO, of course. I laughed when Parkers McLaren was beat so badly by Brooks Plaid... and immediately went out and bought a Plaid.... Now that young man is a BIG PLAID FAN!
