Hey all! Thanks for stopping by. Today we're checking out this SP Premium Edition Ranger 570.
This was our very first 2022 SP 570 to show up so I thought it would be helpful to do a quick walk-around to those thinking of ordering one.
I'm very impressed with Polaris on this one. It appears they looked back on years past and changed what needed changing. There is WAY more storage, smoother transmission, a larger dump box (12.3" dept), nicer seating,.... Just an overall improvement.

I ordered the camo premium crew model on October 1st and I just picked it up on Friday. Last night it hauled its first deer out of the woods. I am impressed with it, tons of storage. The dealer told me to keep it under 15 mph for the first 10 hours so I have been pretty easy on it so far. I had just under $16k in it with a windshield and top.

Bought mine for street use, and when i picked it up i just drove it normally only thing i avoided full throttle accelerations and made sure the engine was up to operating temp. Drove 50km back home with a constant 60kmh no issues.

Love mine! I got the blue (not on purpose, I ordered the base model and they sent me a premium in error, but a win for me!) Glad they did as I love the power steering. Goes anywhere in my bush hauling 1500lb of firewood, dump box helped me fill in low spots on my trails.

Scott, i think you’ll be thoroughly impressed with this machine. It is ten-fold a big time upgrade from previous years. You’ll have to let us know how you like it.

Mine will be shipped on 02/17/22. Got the 570 premium and added the glass windshield with power windshield wiper the rear poly panel, poly roof, front brush guard, 3500 lb. winch, tow hitch, rearview mirror and the poly doors with crank windows. 21k. Can't wait to get it!

@@mikek4040 I placed the order at Auburn Extreme Sports in California on December 1, 2021. The Polaris site shows it will be shipped on February 17, 2022, and then the dealer will install all of the accessories I ordered. I figure I should have it the later part of this month.

@@xgnslngr hey thanks for the reply. I ordered mine on December 20, 2021 and have a time frame of Feb 7 to March 21 for delivery. I called polaris they said expect the end of March, so I guess I will have to wait. And unfortunately the owner/top mechanic just died 2 days ago.

I just saw your video on the 2023 Polaris 570 SP premium side by side. Are the 2024 models any different. That unit in camp is what I am looking for, the only difference is I want to add a snow plow. How does it do with a manual plow? Thanks.

I just bought this , and it does not have a switch for the lights . Key only. I guess that’s only available in the premium. One aux and one tender, not that I care because I don’t . The light switch thing with the key is definitely unorthodox but it works , I probably will not add a switch. I just have a base sp. why did I buy this some may ask….. because it’s all I could find in this market. I didn’t want a full size machine of any kind . And the mule pro mx I had on order was taking too long…. I saw a 22 570 sp and it was still at the 22 price not the 23 price so I snatched it up. I look foward to many many years of service from it. Anything other than a 1000 is very very hard to find in the southeast

I'll have to do that! Hopefully we can get another one in. Polaris actually took a break from the 570 North Stars for the time being. Those units can't even be ordered right now.

Yeah funny story actually lol. I think Polaris actually underestimated how popular that machine would be when they released it. They Literally had overflowing orders nationwide for the North Star 570; so they removed it from the website and are working on fulfilling the current orders that are still outstanding. I think there's a good chance it'll come back into production once they catch up.

Great video but consider turning off the background music when turning on the machine. It actually reduces the nice presentation that you've made.

These amazing UTVs need to come stock with a front and rear windshield, roof, and winch. Having to pay 2k+ in accessories after you guy a 15k 570 is crazy talk. CFMOTO is looking better every day, wake up Polaris.

I do agree with you! It would be nice if some of these units came standard with items like roof or windshield. Just please be very very careful when looking at CF MOTO. They are a consumer nightmare. There's a little hidden reason why they hit a certain price point, which folks often find out after a few short months of ownership.

I took the two plastic foot pieces/tabs off too get in it easier, would like handles on both sides with the (Rubber Grips) The thing flys down the road at around 53mph lol !!! Also any plug in play style reverse light options out there?

Hey there! I’ve heard of some folks doing that. Great minds think alike right? No plug n play reverse lights YET. What I’ve seen some folks do lately is install a small LED pod light at the back of the machine and use that as a reverse light, essentially.

Im interested in the 570 SP, mostly for plowing. Should I step up to the Premium to get the power steering?? is it worth the price increase?

Hey there Jimmy! I would DEFINITELY step up to the Sportsman 570 Premium so you can get the power steering. It is 100% worth the small step up.

Polaris doesn’t note any particular top speed however I’ve had the 570 up to 45mph.

What is SP?

Starting 2022, Polaris has renamed the Ranger 570 to the Ranger 570 SP. If you look in the past, Around 2018-2019 Polaris used to call they're higher quality Sportsman models the SP's. Since they've revamped the Ranger 570 for 2022, they've coined them the SP. We're not sure, however if it means Sport Performance or Special Performance.

I was under the impression that the 570 ranger SP was a mid size that was 56" wide and the regular 570 ranger was a full size that was 60" wide. There may be more to it than that, but that stuck with me.
