@@MalaysianMotoring sure, manufacturers should not skimp on safety tech like blind spot monitoring and AEB which imo should be the base line along with ABS, ESC and airbags. The only thing manufactures can't do anything about is the nut behind the wheel. Future smart cars should have the ability to yell at the driver if they drive like an a55 and self drive to the nearest driving test center for the driver to resit the driving test if the driver continuously drives like an a55.

I actually do agree with @Gemini's statement. Active safety while good, seems to have given our drivers even worse driving and ignorance than ever. One thing that has been ignored lately is still Passive Safety. While the Myvi is top dog on Active Safety. I would still bet my life of the Iriz/Persona when something goes VERY wrong. Unfortunately this is something that can't be properly tested unless in the worst and most unfortunate situations.

@@silverelgrandlow6298 if that were the case, PROTON would have submitted both the new IRIZ and PERSONA for retesting with ASEAN NCAP rather than relying on the original ratings for when the models came out. We suggest looking into ASEAN NCAP data, specifically occupant, side impact, and child occupant protection. Our opinions are driven by data.

Then explain how the Perodua Bezza has those features for less money. It's not a matter of dollars and cents, it's a matter of willingness from management.

Persona excels in its smooth handling, driving train and safety while MyVi (as usual) brags on its gas consumption and advanced gadgets... Up to individual's preference I must say

The Bezza competes against the Saga, not the Persona. There are huge differences in fuel economy, as the VVT-i engine and CVT combo are, as mentioned in the review, a thirsty pairing. If you spend 90% of your time in town and only 10% driving long-distance, then the Bezza is a better bet. Perodua also has better aftersales service and more affordable maintenance in all regards and areas.

About 9L/100km give or take. Same for both cars, on mixed conditions (motorway, rush hour traffic, interurban).

It's available on current PROTON Persona models, for the foreseeable future. It is however a very popular colour so it may attract a waiting time.

Space Grey was introduced as part of this update, so no, older models aren't available in this colour.

@@Moji16 Tak d nafikan, pemanduan jenama Proton mmg baik & selesa, tp klu di hiway la, klu dlm bandar, terutama dlm kelajuan rendah ke tinggi, (sllu bila nak gerak slps lampu merah) akan terasa 'jerking' berbanding kereta model dr Jepun sy terdahulu (10thn). Ikut nasib masing2 juga, ada yg terima kereta, bunyi bergetar pd papan pemuka (dashboard), ada masalah penghawa dingin. Persona saya, dlm 3 bulan pertama air menitis dgn bnyk d bhgn pemandu, nasib baik masih dlm jaminan, tp slps tamat tempoh jaminan, sy dh terpaksa tukar 2 benda utk aircondnya. Klu nk d banding dgn kereta lama sy, sehingga hari dijual (sb beli Persona) aircond x pernah bermasalah dan tiada masalah 'jerking' Walhal Proton (model2 lama) mmg terkenal dgn sejuk dan tahan lama aircondnya) Pemain stereonya, wlw kualiti gambar kamera undur mmg baik dn jelas, tp sensitivity sesentuhnya agak kurang.. Tp apa pun, sy dgr lbh baik la dr sistem audio Perodua. Apa pun keselesaan dlm perjalanan jauh mmg x dinafikan... Ada yg merungut juga tentang 'push-start' buttonnyya yg sedikit bermasalah tp tidak pula pada sy. Klu tuan bercadang nak beli 2nd hand Proton, lbih baik bawa bersama mekanik yg boleh dipercayai utk melihat.. Semoga model2 terbaru 2021/22 ini akan lebih menaikkan semula jenama Proton. Dn jika mampu beli yg baharu, sy cadangkan, beli saja yg baharu.

You're right. That must be why we are engaged by PROTON (and other car makers) for our feedback and to provide coverage, and you're... posting comments on 2-year old videos in the middle of the night. Also, someone tell Perodua that their more affordable Bezza shouldn't come with air-conditioning, doors, or headlights, let alone active safety systems, since it's 'a cheap A-segment car' by your logic. All that profit waiting to be maximised!

If you cannot delineate between something as basic as headlamp or A/C and the things you were whining about (you wanted Lane Keeping/Changing and Steering Assistance · Blind spot Monitor, Warnings, Sensors, and Cameras!) Why not go and buy a luxury car? At the price pointof these cars, only so much is possible and a reviewer has the responsibility to keep is fancy urges in chack and deal with realistic expectations. You are obviously immature - the mere fact that you chose to answer this very slight criticism is a measure of your lack of maturity and inability to take criticism, despite being able and willing to dole it out to others. i find car reviews in english is more thorough, more facts, points and knowledge. Where else review in malay always use non meaningful words like ‘padu’ , ‘mantap’, ‘power’, less facts and less knowledge in regards to the car review 😌
