I have to agree 100% with the owner. I also own 1, the 2019 model. The strong criteria of proton is actually the safety because of the built rigidity, controllability, and comfort. Maybe we can say the safety is already built in with the car. Not like produa, even they say it got safety, that actually only flashy technology as marketing gimmick. The body and handling itself not give extra point for safety. I know because i own produa also. I drive many models of produa and proton. Even Honda and Toyota still below proton on safety.

Great entertaining and information there bro. I owned this Persona Premium for 4 months now. No regrets, except the IHU need some improvement and Hi Proton... hardly use. But loved the LED lights, brown seats, space Grey color and two tone 16"rims... Keep it up bro

I bought the premium(2018) only bcz ada very clear rvrse camera & touch screen infotainment unit... well, only can shout out to the rvrse camera's quality, the touch screen's sensitivity... Haiya!!!! Slowly sakit hati... Tekan button lain, play yg lain... Psl tayar, yes.... I agree juga 👌.

my points: 1. Exec vs Prem, basically features diff are only more toward semi-functional/cosmetic/gimmick.. things that you can live without, such as auto headlamp, seat cover (nowadays seat cover r cheap), infotainment (just change to Android Player if you want the youtube, waze, etc), steering cover, etc.. meanwhile Std vs Exec got huge Functional features diff as simple as rear seat fold 2. seat leather is hotter than fabrik, but .. go pasang tint settle lah aiyo.. hot pon tak lama , psang aircond sejuk lah.. while leather nye benefit to protect the cushion from stain, dirt, bacteria are far more beneficial/overcome the weakness (hot) 3. i owned Bezza too, casual drive is okay lorh mencukupi but.. im kaki lenjan jgak slalu bwak 100km+/h atas highway so body ringan tu mmg terasa wlaupon da tukar spring and psang spoiler berat + full load 4. actually weakness is engine vibrate soo obvious that when idling, i got free butt massage (legit the seat vibrate much worse than my bezza) , engine mngaum pon kuat jgak,

My Saga BLM need to full overhaul last year after 10 years service with km 430000. Change radiator fan, change alternator. Service 1 time/year. Ekon after 8 years need to change compressor and top-up gase. 1 time only I'm stuck and RnR because battery kong. The rest, it give me excellent services for me. Now my wife use this saga for jalan2 harian dan pergi kedai. I use back my kancil after change engine. Siapa cakap saga kereta yang manja dan senang rosak?? 😅😅😅

Agree with every point given by the owner about the power delivery, handling, safety, terrible infotainment unit, fuel consumption in city and highway. Would like to add that the NVH when crusing on highway is not really good. Mine is the 2019 version which cruises 110km/h at more than 3K RPM....it's really not ideal in terms of NVH and fuel economy. Then there is the roaring road noise as well. It's a great car to drive in town and reasonably comfortable, just that the NVH takes a hit when you get on the highway.

Quick question, sorry but after how long did the owner change the tyres? and the infotainment by itself is it ok, if not connected to the phone? Btw was there lag in the reverse camera while reversing? Thanks & appreciate the feedback

I'm the owner of Persona 2017 until now, so far memang best klau jalan jauh jimat minyak. But if in city drive, hahahaha parak. Eventho hp and torque are slightly different between 2017 and 2022 model In terms of stability, comfort and handling is the best for me. But there's some drawback from my experiences owning a Persona, rear right window cannot naik full woo.. Hahaha once changed getah tingkap baru okay. Got noise when lalu jalan tak rata and same wheel bearing had changed twice, aiyaa ma money. But, overall I can give 9/10.

Proton needs to improve the engine mounting durability. my dad's persona mileage at 34k km already vibrating terribly when idling.

Is Standard Version 2022 same handling vs Exec/Premium? since i dont need the infotaiment , keyless etc .... I did try on the Premium at Proton showroom but they dont have standard to try on tho....

currently use Persona 2016. Masih tiptop. Wanted to purchased 2nd car since my sister going to use our old persona. Test drive many affordable car including perodua Ativa, Alza, Myvi & Axia. Walawei.. Cannot beat Proton lah in terms of comfortness. The handling level dewa bila main cornering. 😂😂😂 Last2 purchased latest Persona as ny 2nd car. Choi... strong body sebab pernah langgar Honda dan Bezza. Terbarai bontot bezza.

Not me in this video but I also earn well more than 5k and stay with Persona MT 2019 until recently. Seriously, if you want to allocate not more than 20% of your gross salary for a new car (IF yuu really want a NEW car), Persona is a very good option. The only deal breaker is the looks, it's not something that I want to live with for a long time especially when kena racun every day. I had my reason which is no car available at the time that I bought it that really suit my taste and budget (I had my eyes on the likes of Mazda 3, Kia Cerato and other C-segment sedan that doesnt looks so uncle), so I picked the most fun and cheap option so that I can ignore the depreciation value when it comes to trade in to other car.

I want to buy premium bcoz your other video.. But what he said about leather seat and hi proton change my mind.. Btw my brother also said the same about leather seat before but I don't want to believe him.. Lucky I find this video 😂🤣

this car is fun to drive, and i like the central console for its space. can pun wallet, phone, bottle, pen etc. (persona exec 2020 owner) but you get what you pay lah, and good stuff is not cheap. cheap stuff can be good, but dont put so much hope. quality control definitely a lot of room for improvement. maybe i get lemon unit? i dont know. however, it can still drive with minor imperfection so far. i am just afraid of major problem. not because i dont have money, but because of availability of sparepart. whats the point of having money if always no sparepart? for income below 4000, i would suggest to buy proton saga instead. because of less electronic parts to worry about, and pretty simple fix to any problem that may arise in the future. less worry about sparepart too.

I think for the fuel consumption penalty , paying RM 35000 or more to drive VIOS, CITY, ALMERA, doea not make the calculations
