Basscat sets the high watermark in the bass boat industry, they’ve been doing it for a long time. This bass boat is absolutely phenomenal. It’s rare to see a great American company take this much pride in their product. Awesome.
Along with a 8 month production backlog in 2021. I tried to order one from a auth bass cat dealer and he said you might as well go find a different boat.

We load the lids with a seal trim that is compressed and it does allow the lids to float slightly. The lids are braced more than other brands and the flex you see is the trim floating as it compresses. As for sticky, they are loaded by that trim so when they release there is a tension on the catch that give a pop to the action.
