Hi! Very clear video, thank you for that. My question is, will all the questions in all the sections be MCQs or will there be other format questions like typing in answers or creating invoices or journal entries etc.?

At the basic level, all the questions are multiple choice--some with radio buttons, so there is only one correct answer, some with checkboxes, so there are multiple answers, and some with drop-downs, with multiple drop-downs per question. At the advanced level, in addition to the above, there are a handful of questions that require you to do a math calculation and enter your result. There are no questions that record your keystrokes creating transactions, but you do have to know the keystrokes to get the different features. Use the Sample Company to test this (in a different browser or incognito window)--you do not have to have it memorized. HTH

I passed the Pro Advisor Online Certification thanks to your course. It's fantastic! Any idea when taking the Re-Certification test is required? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Yay! Certification season is November-October. So you will need to recertify the spring following the October following when you got your certification. So this coming spring 2022, anyone who got their certification November 2020 through October 2021 will need to recertify. If you got your certification later than November 2021, you won't have to recertify until spring 2023. This can be confusing to think about, so let me know if you have additional questions.

Yes. In the new Certification hub, you will find Sample questions for each of the tests. I have not yet reviewed them to see how well they match up to the actual test questions. It's on my list!

You always have access to the course, yes, but it is specific to getting your certification, so you won't need it after you have passed. You do have to recertify every year, but that is a separate course and is offered as an add-on. Hope this helps!

Hello I have a question for you, while reviewing my uploaded receipts it was going well. Then I went to my invoice tab just to look around, go back and now the receipt details are showing tax type and tax amount. It's automatically adding the taxes and everything is wrong, is there a setting for this or do you know what happened? Thanks

You do not need to buy it again, however, you will not be able to use the same study guide either. After Intuit releases the new material, we will create a new study guide, and you will automatically get the new version. We aim for on or before December 1.

Hi, I have no clue about being a bookkeeper is it worth it for me at the age of 58 to start this? So is the Certified and Advance ProAdvisor in the same courses you give?

I cannot say whether bookkeeping is for you, but I can say that many many people, including myself, started in their 50s. I only teach the certification test. For more information on bookkeeping in general, I recommend Bill Von Fummetti's Booming Bookkeeping course. You can find out more here: www.crystalclearcashflow.com/Bill Regarding the certification, Intuit offers both basic level and advanced level ProAdvisor certifications. You can get the Intuit training for free, as described in the video. My courses teach the same material, just in an easier and faster way. You would still go through Intuit for the test itself. Is there a way to determine which exam sections cover which Self-paced training modules? i.e. so I can study the appropriate modules and then take the related test - - rather than study all of the modules and then go back to start taking the exams? Thanks

Unfortunately, no. However, the questions are chronological, so you can study a few modules and then try the test. If there is a question you haven't studied yet, just click Leave Exam and come back to it. There is no penalty for leaving and it does not count as one of your three tries. Hi, ok I was just told that I don't need any prior experience in or with bookkeeping also I'm not or have any experience in accounting having said that can I still take the QB Pro certification without any experience what so ever how would that help me with bookkeeping with something like a restaurant?

You do not need any prior experience bookkeeping or accounting to take and pass the ProAdvisor exam. However, that does not mean you're ready to be a bookkeeper. Getting your certification is like getting your learner's permit--you still need to learn how to drive. I only help with the exam. Question I was trying to figure out that's not obvious, are certifications tied to a person or to a company? Seems you can add multiple users and get multiple users certified, if one of those users moves to another company do they have to get re-certified?

They are tied to a specific QBOA account. Even if you work for a firm, you have to have your own QBOA account in order to get certified.

I'm sorry, as far as I know, certification is only available in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and Brazil. Currently our course only supports the US version.

No, QBO and QB Desktop are very different. We teach only QBO. It is definitely the wave of the future.

@@buzztutorials In order to get a US certification, you would need a US account, which requires a US phone number. I'm sorry I don't know how you can accomplish that.
