When the video started playing, i had to minimize and double check if it infact was the OD review. Interesting choice for an intro music 😅 Coming back to the bike, I think the pricing is on-point esp for the Retro model. Does it come with disc-disc option or just disc drum? If it does get disc at both ends, I think aside from tube tyres, its the better deal (not a fan of dual tone paint scheme though they are done tastefully unlike some manufacturers) The test ride Meteor I rode was abused and had some weird noise at low end of the revs, but that the engine was so smooth (P.S. i ride the GT535 😅) and in all honesty, except for the freight train torque of the GT, I felt at home. I haven't tried the new classic but i think it could be better and the same recipe in a lightweight package (by RE standards) should be have the cash registers ringing. I am not a fan of LED headlight, most are pretty much useless outside the city, especially the high beam, apart from blinding oncoming traffic, it doesnt do much in terms of illumination and bad weather only makes it completely useless . So halogen bulb is a better choice I think. About the mudguard, I do not know of anyone who actually has the tail light cluster fall off their classic, is that really a thing? One question I would like to know is about the seat, how is it for prolonged riding? A lot of people take out their bikes on weekend rides and a good seat goes a long way in making the journey a bit more pleasant, especially since you will be spending a lot more time on the saddle as you really cant reach in a hurry with any RE bikes this side of the 650s. 😅

Please compete this with Honda CB350 and the TVS Ronin 225

I took a test ride, the bike is fantastic, I would say this is the bike for the people who like royal enfield but not its weight. Definitely this will bring new customers into the brand. According to me this model will out number other royal enfield bikes in a matter of around 6 to 8 years. Easy to ride in heavy traffic when compared to other royal enfield models.

The honda jazz guy stayed out and yielded plenty of space to the reviewer...hats off. Also, OD should pick better spots ...not middle of highway/bridge. Great bike, RE has thought this through...specs, features, price etc...including launch location to skip indian monsoon

Very unbiased review thanks for that, I don't like the Design. I think yezdi is a winner in this segment, looks much better in terms of looks at least. RE have classic as winner they should spend some time to fix it's undercomings like vibration, I have 2006 RE thunderbird, I think it was a coolest design but they have ruined it in latest meteor as well, before that thunderbird x was really nice specially in white.

Why would you stand in the middle of traffic to talk about this? The eventual sound quality after even all the sound clean up is awful!

Ronin is far better in build quality. Furthermore Ronin is lighter, will give more mileage and UNIQUE looks than any bike on the road.
