Nice machines, BUT, as a privacy focused person, and cyber security expert, I really don't like the bluetooth remote control (especially that it does bypasse the key, which will allow them to be stolen without physical contact) and the continuous GPS tracking with SATlink to the manufacturer. That's a real no go for me. I hope there is a way for the owner to decide to take this out. Really nice machine, but you don't really own it if the manufacturer keeps control of it all the time. I understand some wants it for safety, I really hope they allow people who wants freedom not to be tracked. Thanks a lot for the video and presentation. :)
Great vehicle! We’re enjoying it here in the tropics of Panama. Waiting for getting our hybrid prototype on august! That will be a blast to drive. We’re sure our vehicles will outrun the contenders in a really near future.
I honestly believe without a shadow of doubt the hybrid will change the game for recreational sxs forever. I think when the time comes we need a pair of hybrids and push the boundaries. Cheers buddy
As a x3 xrs owner I really enjoyed the little test drive of the villian, would really like to try one of these out in the wild to make a better comparison but if it was strictly budget that was stopping a person from getting into the sport then i would definitely take a look at one of these feature packed machines was really impressive
I have the Segway snarler at6 s and I had 1 of the first ones I canada. It has had numerous issues but such a great quad. Currently having a problem with reverse
Guys can anyone help , how do you know the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2 models with cvtech. What are the benefits of this and should we stay clear of gen 1 models. Many thanks.
It's all fun and games till my friends Fugelman goes up in flames at under 200 km's on the odometer. I know they have a heatshield problem and waiting for theirs but it isn't coming and they were told not to drive the replacement Fugleman they have just sitting in their garage. They are frustrated beyond believe and they are trying to get out of it. They were lucky that they didn't get hurt. Hope Segway get their issues figured out because they look lile solid machines!!!
Too bad they didn't research the heat issue on the Fugleman like he mentions they did for the Snarlers. Mines been sitting in my garage waiting on the recall fix since May 3rd.
What recall fix? I checked the USA site n no recalls… but I found the RU-vid video that show the Fugleman rework of the heat shield in what looks to be the China factory location - guy in uniform. Is this what you are referring to? Edit: Found it fir Canada.. not us yet… guess they want the USA units to burn up first? This was a day 1 issue for me… I asked the dealer about it and the video I found but they knew nothing… seen very poor dealer training and knowledge prep before the sale here. I knew more than them before and still because I put the time in on the web n RU-vid! Sad for such a great new offering.
@@sepemail5849 correct. The recall is for the US also, all owners were contacted may 3rd with do not use til fixed by your dealer. Segway was waiting on the cpsc according to the recall notice and when I contacted the cpsc they told me they know nothing of it, then miraculously the same morning the vp of Segway usa said the cpsc approved the fix and parts are on the way. A couple weeks later now and still nothing.
Need to put these against that new style cfmoto sxs. Yah I know you guys are emotionally hurt on cfmoto lol but the last 1 u did a review on was sooo old it's not even relevant to what's available now. Some of the Segways look cheap quality
Haha I don't have anything against cf moto. They have a place in the market and I welcome competition. I fully plan on revisiting the brand properly some day
I'm very interested in a Fugleman. So interested I already put a down payment on one. You've got some connections. Any info on the Fugleman recall? Are those mirrors and turn signals standard in Canada. They are not on mine. Great channel. Thanks
Heat problem but no fire on mine (two of them yet) but pissed mislead on turn signals n emergency flashers here in Midwest USA- deleted but looks like wiring there.
These are total garbage. Local dealer is dropping this brand . Tired of angry customers bringing them in with problems. Not to mention near impossible to get parts. Some customers waiting months for warranty work.
@@Yippynutsmacker where do you think the plastics are made? Electrical internals and tires? There's more Chinese manufactured components then anything else in literally any offroad brand. Sure, they assemble and ship final product from different countries but don't ever think major brands don't use Chinese manufacturing to lower costs.
