Joe, you should see if you can get a winch for the front of that and just get an ice anchor. That would pull you out of any mess. We have one on our ranger. The ice anchor is just a big metal bar. you drill a hole, attach the winch line, stuff the anchor under the hole and winch her right out!
Us old guys would say that looks like the Cadillac of snowmobiles. That has got to make it easier to take those long trips backcountry to find those remote lakes. Nothing like that confidence you have when you can count on getting back out. Congratulations Joe, you deserve it and I wish you the best.
Joe, we run those sleds at my job. Great sleds but just a warning, do not hook up to the front bumper and get towed out if you get stuck. The bumper pulls out of the mount pretty easy. If you have to pull it forward pull from one of the skis. Happy trails!

Congrats on the sled Joe! I used to work a BRP dealership years ago. You should definitely get yourself a "snow bungee" for pulling yourself out. You pull, it loads up then pulls with the power of 4-5 full grown men!

Hello Joe... Man oh man you are gonna love this machine... I have a 2020 virtually same as yours. I do quite-a-bit of ice camping myself and this sled has not failed me. Just back from 6 day Ontario trip few days ago. Logged over 100 miles on raw ice. No trails. Temps dropped to -20F and always started. Ran into some slush too. Like you, I pull a lot of gear. When I feel that SLUSH swag - I just hit it and no issue. Last year I hit a particularly deep slush bed. The boggin I was pulling was slinging left and right just like a water skier. I just hit it - pulled me right out. Slush was at least 2 to 3 feet deep easy. You are now safer and more capable than ever.

Congrats Joe you finally got it! Me and 2 other of my buddies that are from Maine here in Alaska got our SuperWide 900 turbos. These sleds are incredible! We have the winches and heavy duty bumpers front and rear. If you can afford it I recommend getting them and the winch. This sled is stupid heavy then add all ur gear. There incredible in deep snow so never had to use if for my self but I used it already removing down trees and rescuing friends. Be very careful on sharp corners these sleds are very tippy. I flipped mine already with my wife on the back. As a healthy guy myself then add my wife I had to adjust the rear spring block to 3 and front skid coil shock to 3 and that was the ticket never bottomed out. Also when towing always use low gear! Use ice scratches as much as possible so you dont burn your hyfaxes. I will reassure you, you wont get stuck in that sled. I was in 6ft of snow last month in the mountains of Denali. I was cruising like a champ. You will love it!

I noticed your snowmobile is SE so you have Air Ride which is way better than my SWT. You dont have to manually adjust. Yours is push button which I wish I had. Also your lucky you didn't get a turbo because mine is always thirsty! I dont have 200miles yet but seems like every 30 miles it uses a half a tank. Not good sense my cabin is in the bush. Your doing great and making me think about all the memories I have when I was ice fishing in Maine when I was a kid. I show my wife through your videos where I fished. You make great memories for those that can't be there and you're contributing more than you think. I appreciate your hard work on your trips and content. Thank you. You should get a tiger tail for the hitch. It's an all enclosed, self retractable tow rope you can take on and off of your hitch. Look at wheeler accessories for for other items that you can use to get you on and off the ice. Us wheeler guys love the accessories hahahaha

You picked an awesome sled man! I just picked up the same one....its massive and still getting used to it but I am LOVIN the 4 stroke, low end torque and extremely smooth ride going through the tight single track bush trails. For ice fishing in the back country you would ABSOLUTELY love the chainsaw holder and ice auger holder i have both and they are highly functional and leave a great deal of space available for other things if you're pulling a sleigh or allow you to leave the sleigh behind and not tow at all. It was a tuff pill to swallow given the cost, but there is a rack that attaches the same way as the back seat (instead of the seat) which I also got and its great for additional cargo. I was pretty skeptical of the air ride suspension, but I have to say I am extremely impressed with it to this point. You're going to love getting out way more now and with a lot less stress that comes with older equipment that you need to depend on.

That thing is pretty sweet! I just purchased a blown up 98-97 ZR 600. going to be cutting it up and turning it into a track sled. will be nice to have something to get around the ice on instead of walking every where!

Congratulations on the new sled. I just bought a 2022 Polaris Titan adventure 800. I got the winch kit. Get a winch for that monster and look up Arctic Anchor for winching on the lake (because ya, no trees lol). You can make something cheaper and get the same result. Nice sled Joe👍
