Seeing these garage built cars compete is much more entertaining than watching multi million dollar F1 car races and way better than nascar. It’s cool seeing normal people compete because we can relate to them.

NASCAR races [imo], are still very enjoyable as are other racing venues like Spectator racing which I *enjoy very much.* For those who like motorsports, a big part of enjoying them [or any competition], typically boils down to having a favorite(s) that you root for and ofttimes, those you root against 😄 They all have their pros/cons, but spectator racing, F1, NASCAR, NHRA, etc all have a fanbase largely based on that principle. Take care.

Thanks TBERG for everything you do! Drove the Mustang 4 hours down, raced and had a great time then drove it 4 hours home. This was my first multi-lap race with the Mustang and I loved it! Also learned a lot about what my car likes and doesn't like on this track. Looking forward to coming down again!

I respect the hell out of Charlie and that Blazer, that man knows how to wheel. And I love the new way that they are doing the five lap races leading up to a final five lap race. It's a great way to do it and I hope they continue it that way.

He sure is a wheelman!!! And this was a special event, the second one of the season. They pair this special spectator drag show with Monster trucks. Normally they wouldn’t have these multi lap races during the thrill shows!

He had them beat across board he is one of the best drivers, that blazer was sticking to the track better than the others, and it clearly has them all beat in horsepower they never stood a chance.

If some of those other guys could get a few more hp and a better grip on the track I think we would have a race. I would be a bit embarrassed if my sports car wasn't holding the corners as well as a blazer SUV lol

Camaro hit the panic button trying to avoid the subie...hit the back of the truck and truck got sideways and stayed on it which made him come down on the Subaru

7:52 The spin was caused by the blue pickup running down onto a lane which was occupied. The pickup driver should have been DQ'd, and the race restarted.

@@TBERGMEDIA AHH OK! , Man that thing revved like a cammed ROLLER MOTOR, its a brute, can u ask the driver why he chose to not have it AWD? if he did then it would probably beat that WHITE Stealth and RED 3000GT. Im in ASIA, and i would die to go see those races in person! probably compete with a cheap LS Powered something. thanks for the info!

@@effyfil4277 red third gen panicked not wanting to hit the subie, hit the back of the truck which caused him to go sideways. He stayed in it and came down on the Subaru making pretty bad contact. Sucks to see but it was definitely a train reaction and multi laps are even more of a risk out there!

@@TBERGMEDIA I wasn't sure if the Subaru was actually hit or maybe she spun avoiding contact. But I watched it again today and it's clear she got hit bad. Poor girl. Them "Seekonkers" should treat their guests better lol 😁

@@effyfil4277 luckily the damage was only cosmetic, fender, door, bumper and wheel. Pretty sure we can save the door and the wheel but the fender will need to be replaced and probably the bumper cover too. The car was able to make the 3-hour drive home under its own power and she's still driving it to work everyday.

I remember when the idea of spectator drags was an intermission event for amateurs with actual street cars they drove to the track. Looks like here they ruined that by allowing ringers with open exhaust race only vehicles just missing numbers on the doors.

Um open exhaust is legal in street vehicles in pretty much every state that holds these races... 🤭 also open exhaust doesn't make a race car

@@Reno420alex Really, so which states allow unmuffled vehicles on the highway? My point is how spectator drags has evolved from spectators in the stands seeing what their daily driver can do against others, to having experienced, sometimes ex-race car drivers regularly competing in dedicated fully track prepped vehicles pretending to be street cars. Instead of spectator drags it has just become another racing series, but apparently without any rule limitations, or any handicapping like in bracket drag racing, that would equalize the field for close finishes.

@@Reno420alex All is good until you are pulled over. Can be cited for a defective exhaust or in some communities for exceeding a decibel limit with a loud exhaust or loud stereo. You are probably right about a Tesla Plaid but any racing series that does not have rules for parity will have the same big money cars with their advantages always winning by gapping their competition. To me that doesn't make for a good show, and that's what I saw watching this video. I like side by side finishes where spectators rise from their seats.

Good races. I am a big fan of the multi color and multi car races. Some cars look like they are setup for left turns only. It would be cool to see them throw in a reverse course race every once in a blue moon to keep drivers from being able to set there cars for left tunes only.

13:15 Car is in the middle of a curve....WITH NO CAUTION FLAG??? That's a fantastic way to get your track closed. Someone gets hit in that kind of situation and the "negligence" lawsuit won't even go to trial.
