Awesome collection of watches. I'm beginning to start my collection at 28 and just picked up a Tudor Chrono Panda a few days ago. Great to see someone build a collection throughout his life and be able to share it with others. Happy New Years!
New to your channel & just subscribed. Love your collection and a little like mine, diver heavy. A couple I have and some grails to look forward to.. the no date Sub! Went crazy, only 3 years in the hobby and 220nwatches later... I know! From Sydney Australia, enjoy the New Year!
A fantastic collection! Exciting vlog! I also need to get a birth watch too....1966! I've got a few keepers....2 Omega Seamasters and a speedy which my wife wears. A few Seikos, a Breitling Navitimer, and a Panerai Luminor 104. Happy New Year Sir!
The watch you found free diving is the Casio DW-401 Timecop. I have the Skywalker version. Hang on to it - it’s already a collectible classic. 😎 The PAM 111 is my favorite and the one I would keep if I had to pare your collection down to one watch. Surprised no Rolex Explorer version 1. I’m interested in the Seagull..
Yep. My Casio is the DW400. I believe he Skywalker is a 401. Both very similar. I actually sold the Seagull earlier today. Thanks for watching and your kind comments! Happy New Year!
Very nice collection, lover the polar dial it’s absolutely gorgeous! I would buy that seagull from ya for a crisp Benjamin if you really want to sell it but I’m sure you will get better offers out there for more! Anyways cheers great work!
Hello fellow CO collector. Very much enjoyed the SOTC. Great verity. I’m down in the Springs if you want to meet up and talk watches. I’ve been collecting for many years. Russ
The Omega is not too small to wear. If it were a contemporary watch in 34mm it would be too small, but it’s a vintage watch. Vintage watches were small. I have 34mm Omega and a 29mm Santos that wear just fine. I’m 6’1” 225lbs.
I’d love to hear more of your thoughts about the collection. Do you want to continue to grow the size of it, or shrink, or maintain at current level? Are there goals you have for the future, or a general mindset for how you are thinking about collecting? Thank you for sharing!
I think I’m getting to a point where I don’t need more quantity. I’ll probably start selling/trading for more expensive or just different watches. Cartier? JLC? IWC? I think my P01 might be next to sell. But I wonder if I’d regret selling it. Thanks for commenting and the question!
Your vintage Constellation looks amazing!! Would you mind sharing the info of the shop that did the restoration? I'd love to bring my father's Connie back back to life too.
I have a local watch business called “mountain time watch co” it’s a great name 👍🏻 Watches have seeped into my knife collecting. That watch you found from diving is incredible. I’m looking for a seagull, is it the clear case back and sapphire version?
Interesting collection. Just wondering how you arrived at the decision to sell the Batman and opting for the Pepsi. BTW I did the same thing as I found the Batman to be too similar to my 116710LN
Well, when I bought the Batman it was offered to me by a friend at dealer wholesale price. So I picked it up. It was mint! But I never wore it (knowing deep down inside I was going to trade it for a Pepsi). I had a medical scare this year that prompted me to do somethings I was holding off on. The Pepsi trade was one of those things. No regrets.
I'd love to see a seiko marine master 300 blue dial in your collection for next year plus an Omega seamaster 300 white dial and a really nice dress watch perhaps from JJ le cult or Cartier. Great choices so far thanks for showings.
@@MountainStandardTime the Reverso is a beautiful icon and would be perfect for your collection. Still would love to see a white dial seamaster to give that contrast against the black sub and the MM 300 has a GS movement with fantastic case finishing and for it's size fits great on average wrists. But I'm bias as those are on my list for this year as well as two longines the 1945 and the big eye. A great hobby but additive.
I sold it to help pay for the Pepsi. It sold immediately. Guys probably had search notifications set up. I do miss having a navy blue dial in my collection.
Thanks! I’m just not a Jubilee fan. At least I don’t think so. I never have tried one on. Or compared the two bracelets side by side. I’m very happy with my Oyster though!
I do! It's a nice watch to wear without much worry. I picked up the "accordian-style" rubber straps from Panerai to make it fit a bit better on wrist. That made a big difference! Best of luck with your PAM111 hunt!
I was just saying to my wife . I wonder if anyone has ever found my Breitling dive watch at the beach at Diamond Head in Hawaii.Because I lost it there in 2000 while stationed at pearl harbor think it had a water resistance of 30 Bar so it should be good 🤣
Interested in selling the CasiOak? I also have a Rolex 124270 brand new from AD. Just not a fan of the size. Interested in buying? I don’t want to flip it for money, just want what I paid for at AD and a good home for it.
