Hey guys, second SOTC video on the channel. In this video, I'm sharing my complete watch collection with you guys. Thank you for watching, Let's Talk Watches.
What an amazing watch collection. I really love the dial and strap on your Bulova timepiece. It’s always great to see such an array of different timepieces for everyday wear.
The Monaco & Oris Big Crown are my two favorites in your collection. I really like that maroon/burgundy face on the Oris. I have the same watch, but Blue-Gray face & swapped bands immediately; didn’t really like the stock Oris strap. Good stuff 👍🏻
I’m not even gonna sugarcoat it, this is probably the best SOTC I’ve seen on YT (and trust me, I’ve seen hundreds). Such a perfect mix of high and low end icons! Maybe I’m biased cause I own a lot of the same watches but man, killer collection. Any ideas on what to pursue next?
Thank you very much for your kind words and great to know that we share similar interest in watches. The next big addition will be an Omega, but not sure which one.
I have the Seiko / 64 mas homage from Ali express too. THe Seestern. Honestly I just couldn't say no for the specs you get at the price. And its a subtle enough design where it doesn't scream "homage". The finish is better than most of my other watches that are twice that price
very nice and balanced collection! only one problem for my taste...i think you bought the worst possible color for kamasu! i adore this watch but i prefer the blue the green and red much much more than this gold ...other than that great! i suggest you aim for a grand seiko after and maybe for a hamilton khaki and you are golden!
@@letstalkwatches Same here, I think we share lot of similarities in watch tastes hence why I really enjoyed watching the vid. Thanks for showing your collection..
Very nice collection! My favorite watch would be the Citizen Titanium EcoDrive. The one watch I would have changed would be the Rolex for a Submariner. Other than that I really like your collection.
This is one of my fav sotc videos. It's amazing how we have such similar tastes. Firstly, I have that same exact watch box (1st box) , but in black. I own an Orient Kamasu also, mines is has a gold bezel also, but with a blue dial. I also own a Seagull 1963. Two watches I have next on my list to get Is an Oris Big Crown, I want the Roberto Clemente edition. I also want a Longines Zulu time or a Longines Spirit. And I have a Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive. I have the gold case black dial variant. And finally, I've been looking at a Rado Couple for about 2months, waiting for the price to drop. The one I am looking at is a 2 tone with a white dial. The dial has that same whirlpool effect. I started collecting last year and I bought like 9 watches and requested one for xmas 😅. 7 has stayed in my collected thus far. P.S. where did you get the Longines Zulu time at a $1000 discount? The price is why I haven't gotten it yet! 😅
Hi Keron, Thank you for watching the video and it's great to know that we share same interest in watches. I bought the Zulu Time from Lotte Duty Free in Swanston Street, Melbourne. Cheers!
Hi Ivan, yes, I like manually winding my watches so I wind them every few days. I try to wear them often enough that I'm not constantly winding them. Cheers,
What model is the Rado? You should show all the elements of the watch, clasp, crown, caseback, close up of the dial, dial at angle to show height of indices, etc. 😀 Nice collection, thanks for the 4K!
Hi Wayne, the Rado model is R22862152 from the Couple Classic range. Thank you for watching the video, I didn't want the video to be longer than what it is hence refrained from going into the details of every watch. Thank you for the feedback though. Cheers!
Beautiful collection and inspiring taste! Thanks for the Video. What about that dealer, could you maybe tell me also what it is. I actually look forward to buy zulu this year... thanks a lot :)
What a great variety of watches, from brands to colours, congratulations. my collection has actually a lot of similarities with yours ;). ; thanks for sharing, great content.
your collection is awesome! congrats! The seagull looks amazing on that green leather strap, can you tell me where did you purchased it please? Cheers!
@@letstalkwatches uh that's awesome will do for sure ahaha thanks for the quick reply! By the way, completely off topic, can you recommend some cool like "summer vibe" watches? (under 500$/€ ? )
@@Dokanification the list is endless, but here are some I can think of having that "summer vibe"- Bulova Oceanographer with Orange dial, Citizen has some cool colours in their Tsuyosa range, Yellow and Tiffany Blue being my favourites, Tissot's Mint dial PRX. You can also checkout Zelos as they offer some very cool dials as well. Cheers.
Uncanny how similar our tastes are. Wimbledon is my grail, and I also own some of the watches in your collection. 👊🏾 kudos to you… although that Monaco…🤢
Thank you for the suggestion mate, would be nice to have the Reverso, but wouldn't be adding another GMT as already have the Longines Zulu Time GMT in my collection.
That’s the nicest looking Bulova I’ve seen I think.. Cool collection besides the Seiko SKX 😅 I’ve never understood why so many collectors feel the need to have one. It’s like Seiko’s cheapest looking watch to me with many better looking options. I’m in love with my Marine Master 200 with the limited edition Green Dial from last year. It looks super high quality and classy - even next to much more expensive watches I own (Omega Speedy)
"From the cheapest watch in my collection" - proceeds to pull out a Rolex that goes for £6,450 - £11k depending on condition, year etc Wow, that Presage is gorgeous, but the thing that turned me off them was they are so small, I thought they were 40mm, but their not. I just bought a Citizen Promaster, supposed to be 44mm but in reality it's only 38mm - the stats on these websites are wrong, seems to be a regular occurrence in the watch world.
NIce collection. Good think you have Orient or I would have unsubscribed. And Casio. And Citizen and Seiko. Those are foundational watch brands. Chinese brands get zero points.
@@kerryjgee Well, yes. I guess its all relative how you define cheap. But you got to agree that not all watches he owns gets enough wrist time. Better to have one solid watch that actually gets some wear than to have 5 watches that don't all get the wrist time they deserve. This is my personal opinion of course. Guess that's the difference between a collector and an enthusiast.
This hobby should be about having fun and the love of watches. Enough with this "cheap" stuff! Let people have fun and buy what they want and can afford. Stop being so judgemental. So you only want 5 or 6 high quality pieces. Who cares! Who are you to tell him he has too many cheap divers! Go away!
