Now u have to buy the charging cable for like 200 the traveling one and the home charger is 400 . I think it’s smart for the company to charge an extra 200 it’s a business deal These cars are made for people wit money 💴 and I’m now in a position to be able to afford one myself Ima wait until next year got something’s to take care of Now but I’m happy that I can afford one I’ve worked hard many years and struggled now it paid off And I love your tesla

Congratulations on your new car! I ordered my MYP in Nov 2021. I couldn’t take delivery in March and rejected a VIN in June because the car came with summer tires. I’m going to get a VIN soon. Is MYP not getting Michelin all season as a standard? Do 2021 orders come with 12 month premium connectivity? Thanks in advance!

Beware, We collected a new, Shanghai Model Y LR 23rd February 2022. Brilliant car, even better than our terrific (but lethal in rain spray - Tesla Tech are still working on a fix) ) Model 3LR of 2 years, except for .... the Hankook tyres that seem to have excessive compound Shore Hardness as a cheap way to meet the extra load rating requirement of the Model Y and have an an even further NVH inducing tread pattern that is similar to an HGV truck, crash on the road so hard, that deep bass, sound pressure waves reverberate throughout the cabin so harshly, that we get headaches from it. No parcel shelf provided either. Tesla Service, Nottingham say that "Yes, it is harsh to the ear but, it is a characteristic of the car so, there is nothing we are prepared to fix" We rejected the car via Tesla's UK finance partner, Black Horse, as is our right. Tesla told Black Horse the same. Over 2 months later, we can't drive the car without getting headaches. Black Horse are promising to get an automotive engineer to report on the vehicle but, have already admitted that as Tesla say they won't fix the problem, in all probability, Black Horse will just tell us "tough luck". I am a chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 45 years in the motor trade. I have had problems with new vehicles before but, never anything as outrageously bad as this.

Based on reports of others, it seems to require such changes as to tyres, suspension spring rates & shock absorbers, and also, additional sound deadening & door seal modification plus fitment of a parcel shelf, plus possibly more to effect any noticeable improvement, with no guarantee of total solution. This negates the Tesla warranty so, why pay £56k then, another say £4-5k+ in experimentation whilst negating the warranty?
Congrats! Your MYP came with the side paint protection film? There’s a range hit cuz of the 21” wheels. Also about how many miles/ range did you use after 1st charging up for your 500 mile trip?

I have ordered the same as yours, but still, thinking that should I have ordered a black interior long range. Is it worth to buy MVP with white interior?
If you just ordered, I think the MYP is a no brainer. For just $3k more you get wheels, speed, and a few trim pieces. Plus, the price just dropped another $3k yesterday. White or black interior is a personal preference. I love the both, but the white brightens up the interior more.

Electricity is one of those things that can hurt/kill you if you don't know what you're doing. I'd definitely get someone who is familiar with electricity to help you set something up. I am about to post a video on charging speeds between level 1 and level 2. Spoiler alert, you'll need level 2. I have a 50amp plug that I use for my RV, its a NEMA 14-50. Your Tesla charger can get accept and adapter to run on that type of plug. The adapter is $45 so most of your cost will be in the plug and wiring from your breaker box. Again, I'd get a professional out to take a look. Depending on your location and length of wire you'll need, I wouldn't expect the cost to be over $500 to set it up.

no 4680s. Peformance was a quicker delivery( in the beginning I didn't plan to wait so long). Also, by the time you add better looking wheels to the LR you aren't too far away in price, at least not when I ordered. I actually drove a LR and Perf. in the same day. The LR was plenty fast enough.

After owning for a while I did notice that the rear hatch was flush on each side. Also notice the same with the hood(frunk). No interior issues though.
No FSD? Does that affect the computer? Would you be able to do the subscription for FSD as is or need an upgrade? M3P Blue with white interior on order.
Yes, it's FSD capable. If I ever want it I'll do the subscription which is 199 per month. So, paying up front is like paying for 5 years worth of FSD. I've never had a car 5 years, lol.
@@royjohnson9043 it tells you in the on screen menu. I can't remember exactly which section off the top of my head; it maybe called software updates or something like that, but it's easy to find. Also, if you are just now taking delivery, it's pretty certain you have the AMD chip as well.
