I rented one., and fell in love with the MPG compared to a Lincoln. I really like this look, I'd just opt in for the red seats. Lovely car

I’ve owned a 2005 since ‘06 purchased with 13k miles , 2022 with 225,000k . Absolutely no mechanical issues . I only replaced a bad OEM alternator last year .. Still runs excellent

Nice review as usual, Jeff! I've learned a lot from your reviews over the last 3.5 years when I went shopping for a 2019 Corolla which my wife wanted. From your reviews and my own research it didn't take long to see upgrading to the 2019 Camry was well worth the money - the Corolla was due for a generational upgrade in 2020 while the Camry was in the second year of its awesome 8th generation. And somehow the much bigger Camry got the same gas mileage as the Corolla. We did economize going with the SE trim but overall think it was a sound decision and the car has been trouble free other than the two major recalls, the fuel pump which we had replaced last year and the brake booster unit which still needs to be done when the parts are more available. Of course while the 2022 Camry XSE you reviewed here is much nicer the SE is not bad at all. We've owned 8 Toyotas since ~1985 and not one was a lemon. At this time we have the 2019 Camry and a 2008 RAV4 (considered unreliable due to oil consumption and head bolts that strip). So far our RAV4 still is going strong and doesn't burn oil but if it does become a problem we'll definitely get another Toyota.

Thinking of getting a 22 XSE soonish. For anyone that has one, how is the sound system in these cars. I drive a lot for work and enjoy listening to music. I currently have the Bose audio in my Malibu but I have no experience with JBL

I ordered my 2022 Camry XSE AWD a couple weeks ago. I fell in love with the Camry when I was younger, when my mom and dad owned one. I fell more in love with the Camry, when I started my job at my local Toyota dealer, and I get to clean them, and drive them for a bit, so that helped my love for them even more. The XSE AWD is my style out of all the trim levels. Need something for the harsh winter and something sporty! Can't wait to get my 1st new car in a couple months. And little side note, your videos have helped me in a big way, Jeff! So thanks for your help in the form of these videos! Keep up the fantastic work!

I have the black on grey, 2020 Camry. Xse. 4cyl. Love it.. the dealer tried at the time to upswell me on the v6 for $39k before taxes. But I told the guy, can’t drive fast so the engine is eh, don’t care for the sound system upgrade, living in Cali panoramic sunroof is a no for me, red leather was too loud for me, navigation system, why? I got one on my phone.. So now I have 19 k miles on my 2020 XSE 4cyl phenomenal car! No issues whatsoever, bought with 32 miles for $26775.00 Not including tax ect.

Love the Wind Chill Pearl white color..❤️ lt is well worth the upgrade cost...

Got a new 1993 Camry in 1993. Sold it at over 200k and people ran to the car when they saw me driving it into the sale lot. Now

2011 Camry just turned 212,000 this morning. Getting a little loud in the last 2 weeks. Flex pipe? Exhaust manifold? Had the CEL come on 2 days ago. P0303 and P0304. But this could be this exhaust leak. When cold it is loud and it seals as it warms. Other than this it has been a wonderful car. 1 bad rear wheel bearing at 165K. I changed water pump at 200K just to be replacing it. Done all my own work. Plugs, belts, hoses, oil changes, transmission drains and filters. Going to put on new tires and PCV valve in the next few weeks along with this exhaust diagnosis.

The moment I saw the. First Generation Camry in 1983 I had already known the wonderfully designed 4 Dr sedan with be a hit and big seller for Toyota. I bought one in its second year, a 1984 Camry LE and very happy with it, many of my relatives, friends and coworkers also followed and bought Camry. My Camry was still runs flawlessly after 300K miles mark when I sold at high value because everyone was looking for used Camry. 3 out of my college daughters are driving used 2003-2005 Camry that have 180K-210k on odometers, one is driving a 2008Honda CR-V with 222k miles. Can’t afford new Camry sedans for my college kids 😂 Toyota is the best.

I bought a 2022 Camry at the end of March brand new (4 miles on it). It was the SE AWD 4 cylinder Nightshade. I'd prefer nightshade in white but they had black. I chose the SE because for the extra $5k the options weren't worth the cost. I get 35mpg combined city/highway. My requirements: A nice looking car and sporty, 200 HP minimum. 30+mpg, AWD for winters here, 4 doors to fit my teenagers, and a manufacturer with a solid reputation. This car fit the bill.

Had a 1996 corolla, 2002 Camry, 2001 ES 300, 2005 corolla S, 2005 Highlander, 2015 Lexus IS250. Now the 2022 camry is on the way!

I have this exact same model (except with black interior) for a month now and love it. Had a 2018 SE which was also great but wanted to go a little more luxurious with leather seats etc. The wind chill white is my only “dislike”. Seems more of a grayish white vs. a true white especially when parked next to a white, white car. It was a great deal from the dealer in Tampa so took it. Next time; pre-dawn gray. But still a great car.

I’ve had a 2015 LE, a 2018 XSE, a 2019 XSE, and I now have the 2022 XSE. I guess you can tell I love this car!!!

Love my '19 XSE. Bought it new. Beautiful car. Blue with the black roof. Gotten a no. of compliments on it. The 2.5 has plenty of oomph for me. Coming up on 25k miles. No issues so far. I traded in a 2018 Camaro RS for it lol

Wife currently has a 2017 XSE in black, but is trading for a red 2022 which should arrive in a month or so. Except for a few rattles has been a flawless car. One interior trim feature I will miss is the fabric inserts in the door panels. Helped to break up all the plastic. Also glad to see Toyota has gotten rid of those steering column stalks for the cruise control. Love the reviews Jeff!

I hope they include a V6 in the XSE AWD in the redesign!

Did EVERYONE catch the label where it said DUAL (2) exhaust and Quad (4) chrome tips? That means.. on each side , only one exhaust is functional and the other is a “dummy” but ITS LOOKS COOL 😎

I still own a camry that I bought in 2010, it is a 2000 camry with 385,000 miles on it, still runs strong, everything except for exhaust and hoses and normal stuff is all original

Just picked up our 4th Toyota. 2nd Camry, 2022 XSE V6 Predawn mica. We love it! We tried a Rav, wasn’t for us. Wimpy engine, not enough room for me (6’3).

I ended up going to the dealer and they’re selling the pearl white red interior for $40k out the door what’s your opinion

I got the 2022 XSE with the Red interior 3 days ago! I love it! I got the pearl white paint but with Black also Two tone paint job! I’m in love with my car! Nothing like a fully loaded car with AWD!!!

These are great but getting a bit pricey on the higher end for no added performance

This video is hilarious. I’m getting this same car in a few weeks. You don’t know how many times I wanted to say “that’s what she said” while I was watching. I definitely recommend going back to rewatch for nothing more than that purpose.

Had a 2009 Cam hybrid. Got 335k out of it. Great ride and very comfortable car.

I have a 2020 le. Idk if it's just me but the headlights at night doesn't illuminate far enough. I'm constantly turning on my brights for decent illumination. I wonder if the LEs get crappy headlights or what....

Can someone 5’11” and up, speak on the seat comfort of the XSE, and whether or not it’s any more comfortable than the SE.

my mom got a 2005 camry le in 2016 maybe and it was around 170k miles, now in 2022 i have it and its at 212k miles and the only issue im going through with it right now is how the catalyzer got clogged up and i need to either get it cleaned or replaced, other than that shes been amazing.

Jeff, do you know if the Camry back seat space is comparable to the 2022 Lexus NX? We have a Camry but are thinking about getting a NX but don't know if it's big enough for 2 adults, 2 kids. If it's the same or more space than a Camry then I think it would be okay for us. thanks! PS. Currently driving a 2010 Camry w/ 120k miles that is still going strong! Great cars!

Last month I bought a 2023 Camry Se with heated front seats, blind spot monitor and moonroof. After more than 1k miles, my impression is that it is a very solid car. Love its composed ride. it is not the fasted nor most technology advanced sedan but it is the most dependable one.

Jett, the headrest seems to lean uncomfortably forward. Are they adjustable? If not are they uncomfortable slanted so far forward? Halla.

your camera is picking up too much White from the Camry.. the fine lines of the car edges are faded due to the brightness

LOVE LOVE LOVE the red but if we can't get id like the black with the panoramic sunroof.

Flat tire ratio is too small, affect ride comfort, easy to make the wheel hub deformation.

We have a Supersonic Red SE going in first week of March.Moonroof, Convenience Package, Blind Spot Monitor and the Toyogard stuff. Sold my 2015 Subaru Legacy and this will be the first Toyota mid size send for us.

I currently have a 2018 Camry SE and love it. My only complaint is with the feel of the sport tuned suspension, while it feels great on most roads when on a rough road that hasn't been taken care of, it's not great of a ride then.

The Camry. Only dethroned by the RAV4. 😁😁😁 Drove an AWD XSE. It feels so planted. Was perfect except no v6. Lol.

Excluding some exterior remodeling each year, has the Camry undergone major interior or powertrain upgrades from the 2018 version? It looks like they changed the visual panel, added Android Auto, and added cooling seats (which are only optional).

What is your personal favorite trim? I initially wanted the SE/XSE, but being well into my 40s now, I’m liking the more sophisticated look of the XLE.

Hey Jeff still waiting to hear back from you,about asking you to look into all Toyotas battery drain issues which have left a lot of consumers with a recent new car purchase stranded with a click when I and all the rest of the complaints about being dead in the water,with a new Toyota just purchased within days of leaving the dealership,this issue has effected my Camry,4218 mi,brand new purchase in 17JUL20, have not used it much because of the pandemic. 2020 XSE AWD,pearl white,glass roof just like the Camry you are doing the review on.
