Nice review but isn't this the 2021 Yaris that launched on Q4 2020? That aside, I wouldn't whack it on the rough roads though, my Yaris lower arm is making alot of noises and squeaks now🤣
I find the Yaris to be a very decent all rounder for a B segment hatchback. I've driven one several times, and I liked it for its quiet and comfy ride. What the Honda City Hatch does better would be engine performance and interior packaging. Other than that, I much prefer the Yaris. I'm not a fan of the current City design, interior and exterior compared to previous models.
Nice review kon...yup agree that yaris is an accomplished proposition, but in comparison with the 2021 perodua myvi av with dcvt...i dont yaris is an upgrade...imho...myvi is an upgrade over the yaris...but in comparison against the latest honda city hatchback....i think perodua myvi and toyota yaris has s better value proportion...just my 2 cents
yaris only advantage is NVH , other than that cannot match city lor, speaking of safety despite rated 5 star the yaris A pillar is even weaker than a much cheaper myvi , think about that
Depends on your taste. Comparing between Yaris and City Hatchback, Yaris wins based on safety that Yaris have 360 camera. blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert as City Hatchback don’t get. Even Yaris also wins in terms on durability and engine responsive.
@@emilylimsl9884 Everything else i can agree, but engine responsiveness is a big no. Honda's engine is miles better than this, be it horsepower or torque. Honestly this is the only reason why im holding back on getting the yaris, eventhough i really want to. Maybe ill just have to wait for the next gen yaris or the city hatchback with v sensing.

Maybe you should tried Yaris with BSM, RCTA. Don’t forget 360 camera is also safety item and also help when parking cars. Actually, Blind Spot Monitor is much better than Lanewatch, come with both sides and more easier and better than Lanewatch. Lanewatch uses left side but the quality is not good
But no Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Yaris is also good car, come with many safety features and many other features including Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto
