Agreed, at that price range I would go for a Meccariello handwelted Argentum.

Meccariello makes great shoes and if the narrow waist and bevel dole is important I would too. Many higher end shoes like JM Weston and Paola Scafora and Stefano Beamer don’t have that in this range (or the 1300 range) either.

Feel like TLB has everyone beat in that department especially considering the price range. But im not in a postion just yet to spend a $1000 or more on a pair...thus my scope is limited.

I am very green in the shoe world. For me at least for now one of the key aesthetic feature is the narrow waist. May be with more experience I will think differently.

@@josephheinecke1992 TLBs are gorgeous shoes. But I think in the 800 - 1000 range Vass does a really remarkable job. That’s what I am eyeing rn.
