As always these videos are fabulous! But I do have one question. When doing the install like this from the side, did you connect the positive post BEFORE you slide the battery into the tray? It would seem easier that way but I couldn’t quite tell.
Why don't they put the battery in the side car ?I put mine in the car in doing so I found some fuses I could not get to on the side of the road plus more weight in the car is help full thanks
After watching Dave do the video of removing the seat and dropping it in from the Top, we actually find that much easier even though more wrenching involved (speaking strictly of the Gen#1 EFI bikes, 2016 and older, not these new reengineered rigs) But then that is Most Likely due to the fact we have No lift and in our 70’s... couldn’t say fer sure, but yeah, that’s the ticket.🎫
On 2022 model year there are now vacuum lines and the switch for the exhaust valve under the seat plate, so the method you saw in his video is now more complex, which is why we did this video
@@heindlengineeringmotorcycle .. That is correct, Jon...!! Now all that stuff is under tha plate, under the seat making the way you just showed (5min & 20sec by the way) a Much Better procedure on these new rigs, AND you Don’t even have to strap the kick starter down either..!! We didn’t know that, wish we could afford a New one but they are to far up ⬆️ there now fos a small fixed income, plus that, EVERYTHING is an Extra, even the cylinder gard...😱🤭😏
I continue to be impressed. I must say, I really was on the fence about URAL for several years. I wanted one but checked out a couple of dealers and wasn’t impressed. So, I kinda put my hopes on hold. Then, I found Heindl on line. The videos are terrific. The pricing is far and transparent. The guys are what you see is what you get. So, I took the plunge. My trade even had some issues, unknown to me. Jon never seemed to hold that against me. When I found out and apologized he actually told me it was a good thing the issue happened when he owned it rather than me because he knew how to deal with it. I’ve had several interactions and purchases since. They are not holding my trade issue
Oops, didn’t quite finish. They are not holding that trade issue against me. A stand up dealership, great to work with. Very, Very knowledgeable! Thanks Jon
