Having the old iconic Brasil type VW _combi_ , I'm Indonesian, I took it to travel around java-bali at that time... The years of 90-00, thanks for giving me a great memories. Then it comes Toyota almost all series, Pajero from Mitsubishi etc. In my 50s up, and VW built this iconic wagon with the newest feature n techs? It's amazing, but I doubt it... about the price in my country, cause my govenmt put 150%-300% on imported luxury tax, and cars is including on that regulation 😅😅😅😅😅

Part of what made it a success was its simplicity… this is a super techo version so you can’t repair it yourself. It looks kind of similar to the original but that’s where the similarities end. This is for a totally different market.
I remember seeing the concept for this back in 2017, where you couldn't go up and see it, and i went to the la autoshow a couple months ago, and it was pretty cool looking :) The one big turn off for me was that it is electric, i would love a turbo diesel or a gas 2 liter turbo version
For me to buy a car, two things have to be on it: a cool name, which is not the case on this one. And a cool design, which is also not the case. Example: The first two generarions of Camaro that Chevrolet created are a feast for the eyes, The ones that came next are a paucity of design and creativity. 😢
Is there Atleast one with back seats that are middle captains chairs n can swivel? Also is it only 5 seat? Disappointed, look up Toyota alphard n ull know this is nothing
Обратите внимание - внутри только пластик , хорошо хоть кресла оставили из кожи , люка нет , стекла в крыше нет , даже за доплату , тепловой насос только за доплату , но главная беда - задний привод , зачем ? Непонятно ! Поэтому купил Peugeot E-expert , у него передний привод и на снегу проходимость лучше...
I cant seem to convince my mind that this is just a basic passenger capacity vehicle with room for 5, with the driver included... at first when seeing it i got excited, but driving a car that looks like its capable of carrying more than 5 passengers but actually doesnt, is telling me that the reason people would buy it also includes the aesthetic and history that this model brings
Exactly. I was thinking it would be similar to a Toyota alphard or nissan elgrand, and have middle captains chairs that swivel. But this is actually basic inside. Not what the outside represents
They've capped the top speed at 90mph, to increase the range of the battery. That said, it is rather slow 0-60, especially for an EV, at around 10 seconds.
