To get the winch controller closer to your thumb, remove the part that clamps to the handlebar and attach it to the top bolt on your brake handle.

My dealer had a splitter wire that let you plug your winch into with your 12 volt power supply for my 2007 grizzly

So I really been looking into getting a winch on my Grizzly but I love doing wheelies how much does it Hender doing wheelies when you put a winch on it
