I can belive this with the right sproket setup. My 05 yfz450 with yoshimura exhaust jet kit and k&n filtw ran 86 mph the 700s have great top end speed. I bet that wheeler is fun to ride!
I have on my 2022 raptor, Big gun full exhaust, big gun power commander, K&N air filter, the most I have got out of it was 86mph on the M1 motorway in the uk and to be fair, the wind was behind me! I might look at sprockets next as long as it doesn’t ruin the acceleration.
if you go with a higher tooth sprocket then the acceleration would decrease but the top speed would increase and if you go with a lower tooth sprocket the acceleration would increase and the speed would decrease.
That things sick and sounds amazing. I seen a 10 mil banshee do 175 mph, it was drag setup of course. But ive also seen the non drags do close to 120, insane.
Yea I can definitely see it going high 90s,depending on the wind, because when i brought my 2023 raptor from yamaha the guys tried too sell my the big 3 and told me it'll add an extra 20 too 25 mph too it,and honestly I new nothing about a big 3,so why would they lie too me?
so i have the big 3 on a 21. your saying all i need to do to go that damn fast is 16/36? if so im getting them now. i have a TrailTech Vapor GPS/speed and i could only get to about 75-78 on the stock sprockets
Sounds like you need a tune bud. Also there is a speed limiter I don't think they took off until 23 but my 23 will do 97 with just big 3 stock sprockets and tires. Oh and ais delete.
Why does everyone said impossible to run that mph we don’t just have one that runs 100plus we have two raptors that does it and we have a 2008 that run 96
@@yamahacraig6286 yeah but you have any tips for me while going at like a high speed cause sometimes it wants to drift when I go fast on like bumps cause I’m on dirt
Everybody, he can hit this speed because he is running 16/36 sprockets. The big 3 maybe would have gained him a few MPH alone, but not take him to +90mph. This is entirely possible because MPH comes from gearing, sprockets, and tires - not necessarily hp. And those of you saying you ran similar MPH on your big 3 but stock sprocket and everything else 450s are full of crap. No 450 will hit over 75mph on stock sprockets, and you're sure as hell not gaining 20 MPH with bolt ons. They are designed for acceleration, not top speed. I swear, so many people talk out of their a$$
There is nothing saying about changing sprockets is a legal I will agree with you on one thing I don’t have oem sprockets but I do not have a 16 tooth front sprocket. And the fastest 450 I’ve seen ran 87 mph. But my wheeler has only the big three and it does run 101 mph with a 160 pound rider. It does all go by weight. A bigger guy like myself will not ran 100 mph but I have ran 98mph with me on my wheeler weighing in at big old 300 pounds
@@yamahacraig6286 I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just don't get people not believing the MPH. Your MPH makes sense based on your sprocket sizes. And I am sure 87 MPH on a 450 was a result of sprocket sizes and tires as well. People saying a 3 mod 450 with stock sprockets is doing 90 MPH don't know what they're talking about
😂😂💯 yunno how many big 3s we’ve had lol only way he doing that is with some top end gearing and are cam and head work lol they trippin if they think a big 3 gone do 100 mph yeah you right maybe 80+
There will be jealousy of people like you that don’t believe in the video. There are haters like you that shouldn’t be tuning in Yamahas and you ruin Yamahas name
So you are saying a $2000 radar gun is wrong. If you have a raptor you must be jealous it won’t do about 75mph. I know what my bike does we had two of them run over 100mph with a 165 pound guy riding them. Now if you are 350 pounds my bike would run 92 mph.
