I would say yes. I had 3 adults and the toddler in there. I also came from a Rhino 450, so this is night and day difference anyway. We also do slower trail riding, so if you're wanting to go fast, the suspension and power of the Rmax 1000 might be better.
I got the X2 Wolverine 850. It's not super fast but it's plenty good for trail riding. If you have the money I would get the 1000 but it's also about $5-6000 more. That is why I went with the 850.
Very nice unit, no doubt. The Yamaha Wolverine is my first choice for side-by-side. That said; these bad boys are now rolling out at over $31,000 MSRP. You can literally buy a new Jeep for the same price that it costs for this belt-driven, not ready for the highway big boy toy from a dealership who's idea of a Service Department is some random room behind the dealership with a bunch of tools scattered on the floor.
