Unfortunately I don’t know, it was a testbike, the dealer put it on. What do you mean by both sides?

Oh I see..I was actually looking where to purchase these tank pads exclusively for 2022 model. I couldn't find it in my place.

Hallo! Wo ist diese Strecke, wo das Motorrad gefahren wurde. Da würde ich auch mal gerne entlang fahren. Die XSR 900 gefällt mir sehr gut, ich denke die werde ich mir kaufen. Gruß Martin

How's the gearing on this bike? Is first gear very usable--with the ability to go up to like 70mph before needing to shift? And does this bike have a top-end hit, or does it make all of its power down low and in the mid-range?

The first gear is limited at around 102kph (63mph). This 3 cylinder engine has a different character like an inline 4. With this gearing it has enough power and torque in every range. But in case of full accelerating at higher speed you will need to shift back one gear more than you would first think. It also depends on the ride mode. (It has 4)

How was comfort compared to newer MT-09? In your opinion, can these bikes cruise at "normal" every day paces or do they always want to go full gas and push you all the time?

Normal cruising is absolutely okay, it has 4 drive mode and the 4 is a very comfortable one. As it has enough torque, you can really cruise on low rpm. But it wasn’t really comfortable for me, the suspension is really hard, combined with this hard seat, on the shitty hungarian roads.. but i would buy it to drive it spicy and it has a really good price in this heritage segment. Maybe the mt-09 is a bit more comfortable.

@@analogmotography Thank you very helpful! Yes I think they went a bit more into the racey side of things with this new XSR almost like a fill in for a sportbike. It's beautiful and worth it to some people no doubt.

I’ve had mine nearly a year now and yes, indeed…She wants to Run! General cruising is doable definitely not what Yamaha had in mind with this bike Lol.

I'm still wayting for this bike to arrive to spain, which i already reserved, and i wonder if it's worth to buy the homologated akrapovic exhaust pipe, does anybody know?

I wouldn't buy it for the sound, but for the look. I am missing a nice exhaust pipe, but this original exhaust has also a nice but not disturbing sound.
