The plastic piece in the middle of the handlebar is actually removable. Under it is a fixing point for attaching the phone holder. If you use factory accessories, you can install the phone holder without affecting the appearance.

Zontes does it again, they really are making some excellent bikes and scooters right now. The big brands should watch out. Great detailed review as always, with the comedy mixed in 😂 including slurping your tea, priceless.

Thank you for your review. I now own one, attracted by it undercutting the Forza 350 by £1100. My thoughts (after 2 months): Generally good. Like: drl's very bright, and more visibile than the headlight in daytime (selectable switch on right handlebar) Plenty of power. Didn't notice a difference between E and S mode. Brakes, Suspension, Tyres okay. Dislikes: Underseat storage will not accept all helmets. My Shuberth C3 just fits pressing down saddle to lock. Screen at highest position gives buffeting on helmet for an average height rider (5'9"). Am intending to fit a deflector attachment. Spoiler: Although this is advertised as 168kg wet weight, it's actually 188kg DVLA V5. I've pointed this out to Zontes UK. This means its actually heavier than the Yamaha XMax 300, and Forza 350. (contrary to their advertising that its a lighter, more powerful scooter than their competitors). Its not as smooth (engine and throttle) as the Honda 330cc scooters: Forza, SH350, ADV350, but priced at £1100 less, its worth considering.

Hi from the USA. It never fails, no sooner do I get a new whatever and I see something better or with extras I wish I had. So it is with my new 2022 Scooter I have. Your review and demo of this model is wonderful. Just wish I had seen it before getting what I have. Don't get me wrong I love the new scooter I have but with so many on the market it is hard to make choices post delivery. Thanks for the video.

I kept hanging for about 18 months to see and try one, it was mooted for such a long time that I eventually lost patience and went and bought another scooter. It appealed to me because its not as bulky and weighty as a maxi but just bridge's that gap from a 125. I wish I had kept my cool a bit longer because I'm very impressed with everything Zontes and you're review of it was excellent and re ignited my interest. So I guess I'll just have make it my next one.

Zontes are bucking a few design trends here, which is a good thing as scooters are starting to look samey.

The price is great, I personally don't like it, but I thought about it anyway, unfortunately, when I read that there is no steel sleeve in the cylinder, I gave up.

The key question concerns the Zontes as a new zero-mileage scooter for the price of a good used Honda Forza, we cannot know the relative merits of the two, will the Zontes still be a satisfactory purchase after several years of ownership? A Honda is likely to give good service for many years of ownership.

Just bought one of these bikes very pleased with it but I have a problem I can’t get the Bluetooth to do anything it connects to my phone and that’s it very annoyed as I’ve just paid £4.700 for the bike any answers I have an iPhone???????

That middle part is you pull it off and you can put a phone mount if you pull the part off

How difficult is servicing in eu? Considering its so rare theres about 8 of these in my entire country

Service intervals would be a negative compared to honda but for shorties like me the seat height and weight are much more suitable than the Forza and the Yamaha which is even higher. The manual can be downloaded, interesting language it's in.

The plate in the centre of the handlebars pops off and there should be a supplied bracket to add a phone mount then you pop the plate back on. I have one coming this week I hope, I traded my Zontes ZT310T2 in for it which I have had no problems with, people that rattle on about Chines bikes are fools, how many bikes of this size and price give you an electric screen? stainless steel bolts? adjustable levers? tyre pressure feedback? this will be my third Chinese bike and I can tell you they have come a long way in even 10 years and the days of a whole shipment of Chinese scooters not allowed on the roads of the USA as they were that unfit for the roads are long gone. Many discounted the Japanese bikes in the late 60's and early 70's 'Jap Crap' was the battle cry, now most of those folks are long gone along with the British bike manufactures.

Great review again thank you. Looks a bit of a bargain compared against the Japanese brands and the quality does look good. How are Zontes for spares availability and back up. I'm seriously tempted.

Am I correct in saying the 125 and the 310 scooters are exactly the same physical size except of course for the engine?

Decent scoot but i am lusting after an Enfield 350 classic for a bit less, totally impractical and slower but looks the dogs danglies, wish you would test ride one and compare to your other Enfield.

How easy to fit a top box? - I am looking at a lightweight tourer and need the space. The service interval is a bit short but if the service is basically just oil and filter it will be cheap - when do the valves get done?

Hello, there. My friend, I have to ask you a reasonable (I think) question. Since you found this scooter superb (my interpretation from your review), do you have any worries or second thoughts regarding the quality characteristics of the brand (ZONTES)? I mean, for example, are the plastics as time goes start to creak? or generally having splicing issues? I mean it's not o HONDA or YAMAHA scooter and that creates hesitation in the buyer's decision about the machine's reliability. Is this thinking correct? I would really appreciate your opinion on this matter.

Did he mention the smart key? I'm getting ready to buy one in Egypt and my biggest concern is the smart key. If that shits the bed? There is no physical key backup? Is there a phone app that can reprogram the smart key? idk. never owned a cycle without a key and am anxious in a developing world environment.

I've never ridden one but I have sat on one. My first impressions. Too small. Maybe ok for someone small in stature and more a commuter rather than long distance. I reckon it will be quite pokey due to its size and weight. I don't think it will sell well but bear in mind that's only my opinion.this is zontes first scooter and there is a 125cc as well. Good review.
