You will often find Dr. Brent Chamberlain riding a bike or scooter wherever he goes - not just for the environmental and health benefits, but also to better understand transportation systems in the real world. He is passionate about science, planning, and using technology to increase our collective understanding of the world we live in. This passion is obvious in his role as an associate professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, but he also incorporates it into other aspects of his life.
Brent believes in the importance of developing the next generation of researchers. He creates unique research opportunities for graduate students and has collaborated with students on a majority of his 30 peer-reviewed research articles. He strives to pass his desire to improve nature and society on to his students.
