@@manurodrigo9646 LMAO it has been in the shop under warranty for a blown piston and shreadings in the head.. They are rebuilding it, but taking their sweet time. My bike has been in the shop 3-4 months now and I have missed the whole season here in Colorado pretty much. @KTM also just extended the shipment of parts I was supposed to receive at the end of July till 9/6/24.
@@manurodrigo9646 also was only under 7k miles on the engine.. I love the think but Ive almost been out of a bike as long as Ive owned this one... @KTM
Do you think that bike will have failures in the future? I think the Duke 790 is already made in China. I have a 390 duke and I'm thinking about making the jump to the 790. What do you think?
CfMoto from what I’ve heard are very good at quality builds. My dealer said they get sent to Austria first sms after a check will be deployed to dealers. So apparently KTM thought of potential issues. Also the 790 is the same bike as the 890 apart from the engine
I have one, 2023 bought a month ago, almost immediately had a slight oil leak from the valve cover, changed gasket under warranty and 1500km later no issues so far. And if nothing major comes by I will consider it a win anyway, it’s such a tremendous bike. Also it will require fairly low maintenance
@@moniquemoors1974 volgens mij is dat de marktwaarde. Dus ik zou zeggen een gemiddelde deal. Maar zou altijd even zelf onderzoek doen voor welke prijs deze motor aangeboden wordt. 2 jaar garantie op een nieuwe motor is standaard dus zie dat niet als een uitzondering. Succes!
It’s hard to make an aggressive futuristic looking bike that ages well yet I think KTM has managed to make a classic. As far as reliability, well, the hotter she is the more bs you’ll put up with.
I always thought the same but sometimes you need to take the leap. Currently I'm 11,7K KM's in and it works flawlessly. A friend of mine has a flawlessly working one with 38K on the dash. So as far as I know they are reliable.
