The love, dedication & hard work you put into your videos has been inspiring to say the least. My journey to loving music was through classic rock. All the insight and nuances I got from your reviews rejuvenated my love for the genre. As well as getting back into vinyl collecting. I’m curious what you think of the B52’s. Since I’m a little older, I’ve gotten cynical, but I am completely captivated by your enthusiasm for these pieces of art. You have such a youthful passion and appreciation and reverence for the albums, which reminds me of how I felt upon discovering Pet Sounds, Blonde on Blonde, Court of the Crimson King, and so many others. Seeing your zeal for these albums awakens the feelings I had, so I feel am hearing these albums that I’ve heard so many times with new ears. Its lead to a great rediscovery of so many records. Your channel is wonderfully done, great bumper music (love hearing the Monkees in transition), well edited, funny, and fashionable. You do great work and I’m thankful for what you do. hi, abi!! gen z fan here. not your usual fanbase, but i've been a bit of a silent supporter for most of this year. i found your channel through the aeroplane video, which i appreciate so much as a fan of NMH, and i do find myself rewatching that video every now and again! you've done a great job at helping shape my music taste this year! you've helped me learn more about music from the 60s and artists that are incredibly inspiring, as well as putting a bunch of new songs into my everyday listening (mod month was the reason i got into alvvays and black midi!). also, quick sidenote, but the transformer episode meant so much to me as a trans person, so thank you. thank you for making these videos, they mean so much to me and probably the rest of the community you've built here on the internet. looking forward to seeing more vinyl monday! your passion for music is inspiring ❤️

I actually was first made aware of your channel when Rachel from Slowdive shared your short version of the Souvlaki review! Souvlaki is probably my favorite album of all time! Anyways, I enjoyed the long version of the review and I've been a fan of the channel ever since.

Everything Is Alive by Slowdive was the best album of 2023 & Abby did an excellent revisit of their classic Souvalki from 30 years ago.

Abby I am 68 years old. Your reviews are awesome. I love them. You remind me of the free spirited young women of the 1960's and 70's. The clothing is so 1960's! Timeless. Is time travel possibe? You are a beautiful woman that knows all the high and low points of Rubber Soul. It is my favorite lp. I have 4 copies, I got numero uno on my 10 th birthday in 1966. Great music in lp form, intelegent reviews from a beautiful woman with a beautiful mind. Rock on Abby! The world is yours for the taking! Souvlaki being one of the less-viewed episodes is a travesty to me! Same with the Black Midi video too. I must be one of the very few viewers of yours who is more of an alt rock guy than a classic rock guy, but I will always let you know that I love love LOVE it whenever you talk about albums from the 90's and beyond - the Souvlaki video and the Siamese Dream video are probably my two favourite videos of yours (not counting the MC5 video), and I was over the moon to see your recent Sonic Youth acquisitions on your Instagram! Pleaaaase consider doing a Sonic Youth vinyl Monday at some point - even if the rest of your audience may not give it much attention, I certainly will! ❤

Finding your channel might have been the best thing to happen to me this year seeing as your Souvlaki video introduced me to what is now my favourite album, like of all time. Thank you Abi and hope you have a wonderful 2024. Edit: As a young queer music fan myself I can not thank you enough for the Transformer episode. It's a shame that there's still many close minded people in the world but hopefully that episode managed to change the mind's of a few of them.

this had such velocity! 2023 was the year i went through vinyl monday's back catalogue: from blind faith backwards and i just finished yesterday, so I had to scramble back for this ( this requires velocity too). best thumbnail this year abbey road game changer vid for me souvlaki most thought provoking maybe unknown pleasures, best devoism sometimes i think i listen to so much music that i don't have time to listen to music. we are not day trippers, we're here for the longer journey if you can put up with us. i'm full of admiration and appreciation of your achievement abby. hey got a feeling 24 is going to be a be a good year. have a good one.

so i'm from the UK and just been into HMV record store to buy some Steinbeck/Orwell novels and the guy behind the counter says great band. He'd seen the silver shrink sticker from the slowdive self titled that I have on my phone case. 'i'm going to see them' he said. do you know the early stuff i asked: ' i'm obsessed with when the sun hits' he replied. Slowdive is alive it's alive!

I watch all your videos, whether I am familiar with the album or not. Shame that isnt the norm as I think the more obscure the more interesting a video you can get. Sorry to hear you were sick over the holidays (Laura and I were, too, and still are.) Congratulations on another year of what has become one of my handful of must-see channels -- and yes, I watched all the mod month videos and listened to the albums, even though my interest in modern rock mostly evaporated when grunge appeared. You even inspired me to revive our Hollywood Hi-Fi videos we started in 2007, long before there was such a thing as a "vinyl community." We've only posted one, but more will be coming. I hope you get around to more Who and some Kinks (my favorite bands), both of whom I consider to be far above the Stones (I'm a libertarian, but I would back an international law banning Mick Jagger from ever attempting to sing country music.) But whatever you choose is fine, because I know that even if it's something I don't particularly care for, you will make it funny, charming, entertaining and educational. BTW, my resolution for 2024 is to finally find that album in my garage that I promised to send you months ago. Happy New Year!
