What a fantastic journey through the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta! The mass ascension was such a breathtaking sight, and I love how you embraced the vibrant RV culture that surrounded the event. Hello Bob and Dang. It was good seeing you two again. 😊 WOW, thanks for showing us The Balloon 🎈 Festival. My husband and me would go the The Balloon and Wine Festival in Temecula . We really enjoyed it. We always wanted to go to the one in New Mexico, but didn't turn out. But, i was able to see it through your journey. It looks wonderful.. Thank you, yes it was a bucket list trip for us. Dang, as a photographer, has wanted to capture those colors for a long time and was finally able to. You guys should definitely go. Tip: the registration process was horrible - like trying to get tickets for a super popular concert. Recommend having multiple people trying to get tickets on the website. The Petroglyphs are also very cool, we had to rush through it when we went there. its was gett9ng ready to close for the day. Next time we will get there earlier. thanks for sharing, I see we missed some

We were amazed at how many there were. We would love to spend more time and check out some of the other sites. We intended to go to Three Rivers Petroglyph site which is south of Albuquerque by a few hundred miles, but unfortunately had to change plans. Still want to get back there I hear they have some great Petroglyphs and you can camp there too. Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment!

This was a great day and a fun adventure. Webare adding this to our list of places. It looked very organized and they were ao friendly helping you get set up. You gave so many great facts about the balloons. The one of that man just flying up in a seat was scary. Your dinners are always fun to watch we use those liners in our crock pot love it. That mexican restaurant looked great too. Omg that hike looked great until i saw the rattlesnake. So we have a hike coming up in about a month and I couldnt do it and chickened out didnt want to see any snakes. The fireworks did look great but those drones are a wonderful idea and hope to see more shows like that. More great balloon information at the end and tips. Thia was fantastic thanks for sharing!

I (Bethany) have alwats said id love to try to ride a hot air balloon but i also know om terrified of heights. Im not sure if i could really do it in the end. Oh, i LOVED the smokey balloon! How cute was that!?!

The shapes were really fun, and yes Smokey was very cool -Don't see him as much as I used to when I was younger. Safe travels you guys!

Im sure everything and everyone was nice but crowds aren't my thing. I wonder if slow cooker bsgs would work in my rice cooker. Nice ballon pilot interview. After watching your videos I now know why people go to these events. Hopefully we'll get to go to one in the future, nice bonus on the petroglyphs. The balloon glow a flicker was awesome thanks for sharing.

Yes, we hear you - we generally stay away from crowds as well but in this case you can't go to the festival without the crowds, and we really wanted to see it - just once anyhow. I'm pretty sure those slow cooker bags will work with a rice cooker, makes the cleanup a lot easier - almost no water required which is usually key for us. Magical photography again and we love engaging with the experience. We had a huge group of friends there as well and the pictures don't do justice compared to the full videos. Curious due to the heavy air traffic did they explicitly ban drones? Great job guys! Also quick question, what is your favorite spot to explore in New Mexico if you only had one location to hit?

Thanks so much for the compliment, that makes the hard work all worthwhile! In terms of the airspace, yes the FAA issues a TFR for the whole area from the day before the event to the day after. We knew that going in so we were not too disappointed. As for favorite places in New Mexico - we have not travelled a lot there, just a few times. One that really sticks out is Angel Peak - if you like to drone that is fantastic place. But there are several others that we had fun at as well. Carlsbad caverns is a lot of fun to visit, camping is not fantastic but there is a free BLM area quite close (just a parking lot). And Roswell is always fun too - we stayed at bottomless lake state park. What I love about NM state parks is the price - its crazy - like $23 for full hookups, or $18 without. Very good prices (not to mention the gas price - compared to California it's almost half) Thanks again for watching and the encouragement, we will keep an eye out for your future videos - maybe one will be in New Mexico!
