Kinda echoey sound ngl, needs a bit of foam and tape mod, maybe new switches and/or more lubricant on the switches. Maybe some pbt keycaps would help as well
getting rid of the switches would literally defeat the whole point of even owning any apex pro, the only reason pros use it is because of the omni point switches
Best keyboard i used came from steel series, the pro tkl, the pro mini wireless, yet they arenpeone to water damage.. avoid having drinks in your desk thank me later... had issues with the tkl specially the oled, the nob no longer works because of liquid wen through the circuit, it later got fixed on the keyboard but the oled one never recovered
Bru idk why it annoys me so much the keyboard itself is soo good but im a windows 11 user and when I see a windows 10 key on the keycap it bugs me so much idk why
guys i just bought this new keyboard, but wired. I just wanted to know something about the illumination. Since you can’t change color from the keyboard and you have to use the steelseries software, once you created some configurations of illumination, how do you switch them from the keyboard? Because switching configuration from the keyboard doesn’t change color configuration, it’s always the same color…
You can try setting the color configuration into the profile switch. So you can switch to your config color in the keyboard profile switch. Try if it works
@@GennyBox i can't change the illumination from the configuration, you have to open another tab where you change the illumination, you can create configurations but i don't know how to switch them from the keyboard...it's so weird, i had the apex pro tkl and now with this new version they kinda messed up the keyboard with the software
Similar question, if you still have keyboard. I just got it and I am having a hard time syncing the settings on the computer software and the onboarding settings stored/listed on LED screen. If I change in one , the other no longer responds, very confusing. I called SS support but they just advised to go to tech knowledge base.
@@h4m2_ buy the old one if it’s more on your budget. I currently have the 2023 tkl wired and it works fine. My friend bought a old tkl and it stopped working last week. Mined had to problems 1 year after buying, but 1 years and 1 month after buying, it started crouching out of no where while playing.
**Read this before buying this keyboard!** I've had this keyboard for 1 day, and I'm already experiencing several problems: the keyboard double clicks quite often. The keyboard does not wake up as it should when coming out of sleep. The RGB bug is due to the software & certainly the keyboard as well. If you want to charge your keyboard and put it off, the keyboard stays on LOL. It's great when you want to go to sleep. Ah yes if you load your keyboard, the 'ESC' key remains green. The different color modes do not work on the steelseries apex pro tkl wireless through the keyboard. The different bug modes also on the steelseries software which is not normal. The F key row will flash white each time the keyboard aperates via the 2.4ghz dongel. So, every time you restart or turn on the pc it does it. The keyboard does not wake up on its own, you have to click on a key otherwise it does not wake up on its own. See an iceberg, it's only a simple taste of what you will have as problems. This keyboard is good for playing, but there are so many side issues that in the end it really sucks.
Main one I don't like is the scroll wheel dying from water damage. I've never gotten any liquid in my keyboard. How much liquid did you put into yours?
@@GennyBox Hey man, I mean no offense, I really hope you enjoy it and if you like it that's great! I had a Corsair K70 and replaced it because it was horrible sounding but that's just me. Cheers!
