2023 post vintage racing, AHRMA mid Atlantic region, round 5, Ashcraft run in Bellefonte, PA. Rode my 1978 Suzuki PE250 in the +50 intermediate class. Struggled with the wet and sloppy conditions, as well as the rear brake adjuster nut backing off early in the first lap. Pulling over and adjusting it would have been the smart thing to do, but no one every accused me of being smart, lol

Thanks so much for posting! I'm 55 and just picked up a 77 PE250 today. 1,000 original miles and evidently won some national enduro championship back in the day! Did you ever get out of 2nd gear on that ride? Hope to be there next year for the vintage races in PA! I also own a 78 GS 750 and several 60s-70s Italian 2 stroke scooters.

Looks like fun! I’ve got a couple PEs too. A 77 and 79, both 250s. They’re great bikes! So simple and fun to ride!

That's some cool terrain that you guys are riding in. I must say, I'm surprised that you're not fouling plugs almost instantly. My 81 PE175 wouldn't tolerate being lugged anywhere near that much.
